couldnt have said it better myself. the fact that we have to do so much to arrive there (between saving and traveling, coming from CT mind you) that the adventure leading up to the arrival is part of the experience. i couldnt imagine being able to go all the time and "getting used" to the world...

i get my disney feels when: -i smell a bbq in a yard, which reminds me of colonial america in magic kingdom -i drive remotely close to our airport -pull out the disney Christmas decorations

i have a few moments that are worthy of this post :) -flying over london on peter pan -when "love in an elevator" starts on RRC and you drop when steven tyler says :going dooowwwnnnn" instant happiness, though im already in a pretty great mood to say the least :)

went with RRC because outside of being a disney nut i am a huge aerosmith fan. the timing to the ride and the songs chosen are done real well imo.

i always liked how the bronx zoo puts you up close to the stars of the zoo, animal kingdom is certainly able to make this happen. the next step would caves or something where the guest really feels he or she is part of the animal world, almost to the point that they dont feel the protection of...

i was deathly afraid of catastrophe canyon, to the point i actually jumped from my car that i rode in. i was sure that the fire sequence was not supposed to happen :eek: ahh, the mind of a seven year old.

im usually the caller in these situations, and always make it a point to call my father when i get beside spaceship earth. before my parents divorced that area to the left of the globe, by some bushes, because our unofficial hang-out, so i like to text a pic and call him from there.

I can understand that, even with the gaps in my trips we still skip a lot as well. I guess the only thing keeping me in the parks all day now are the kids (3,1) slowing down the overall pace, and making it a project to pack-up halfway through the day and going to another park. Above all else...

Yeah I hear that, I find it very easy to spend a day at both parks. I enjoy the attractions (and wouldnt mind a few more) and the sights of both places. We too go every 3 years and really enjoy giving each park a full day. To this day and all my trips to the world I have yet to buy a park hopper...

we always go the first week of november when we travel, so its well towards the end of the season. but outside of the (supposed) lower attendance we actually love the mid-70's weather and cool breezes that usually happen. I live in Connecticut so fall is well loved around here, with the leaves...

im not going again until november next year, and havent been since november 2011...even the people going with me on the trip are annoyed at how much i talk about the last trip and the planning of the new trip! :rolleyes:

i would like to see the pathway leading to the new circus/dumbo area when not going through fantasyland. im interested whats there, just before tomorrowland begins.

i never miss a dtd visit when im down there. i think you hit the nail on the head when you said its a nice compliment to the parks because it is the disney experience without ticket prices or long lines. somehow they still capture the magic there.

im one of many who really enjoy this ride. i would probably get pretty disappointed if it was "tamed" in any sense. this is actually the first im hearing about this.

i went 90-00 because thats they decade i can start remembering most of my trips. i think a lot of innovation and direction was decided during that time as well. i think the balance of innovation and fair pricing was at its peak then, and the worry of competition was low.
