For the first time I was not excited to get a PIN

to my understanding disney never actually refunds money when giving a promotional upgrade like free dining or a resort upgrade, is that true? the refund is actually the upgrade, but you still spend the same amount of money, right?

What would you rather see at Hollywood Studios?

honestly, i dont mind the hat as the center piece of hs, its the lack of anything besides a film vendor under it. it would be cool if there was some substance under the hat. with that said, i love star wars becoming a thing there, and i would love the much (overly) discussed monsters inc coaster...

    Review of new Potter Land

every trip except my honeymoon we did that (2 days reserved for universal). i am a disney person through and through, but the change in scenery is often a great turnout. i try really hard not to compare the two places, and though disney will always be my favorite, i have great experiences there...

Considering renting DVC points and I know nothing about it!

honestly what i question the most is will it be equal to the experience of a disney reservation? will i get magic bands? will i get the cool incredibles welcome jump drive? will i get the cusomt-tailored welcome with my name all over it? i know its a deal but will it feel like my disney...

Considering renting DVC points and I know nothing about it!

I am really just starting to learn about renting dvc points for my vacation, the idea seems great, but I want to know from people who have done it and the process behind it. If i understand correctly, I will go through a 3rd party site to match my dates and room selected with a willing owner...

Why is Stitch's Great Escape still there?

the ride itself isnt a terrible concept, its the theme that most dislike..but most is not all, there is a group that enjoy the ride, and supposedly enough to keep it going.i miss ae but i dont mind taking some time to ride it, because no matter what, its still a disney attraction. there is good...

A good but sometimes tough question..whats your first memory?

my mom was talking to me today while I was in the middle of discussing next years trip (November aoa). She said to me "whats the very first memory you have of all our trips to Disney"? Im 29 now, and have gone several times since birth, the first time I was 2. Clearly, the first few times don't...

How to deal with Disney withdrawal?

funny enough, this site really does help me get through the gaps between visits, which average every 2 years or so. I frequent this site daily, even for just a few threads. also, trip planning really does the trick, im not going back until November 2014 but well under way with my plans.

    driving from CT changing plans

Going to try DDP for the first time, help?

so quick-service is basically useless, my biggest concern is "extra" money beyond purchasing the plan (tips, other snacks, etc) and the time devoted each day to a sit down meal. I will bring this info to the group and discuss. now what about the two children going that will be 2 and under? can...
