    Teenager Worries

For me this is the biggest age group where WDW falls short. Not enough thrill rides to keep a teenager amused. But it really all comes down to what your teenager is into. Some love Star Wars so there's stuff to do. If not I might recommend going to universal for a day maybe even 2.

    Planning vacation for next year

Sounds like a good plan just make sure you book FP 60 days out as well

    Disney cruise or Disney world?

Do WDW and book a cruise on another cruise line another time. Carnival, RC and princess are significantly cheaper then Disney cruises.

    HS to EC boat

We don't mind walking but do like the boat ride. We normally just get out at the 1st stop and walk the boardwalk into Epcot. Boat ride is only like 5-10min but waiting sometimes can be like 15min

Where can I watch The Game at noon?

ESPN on the boardwalk for sure.

    Just realized how expensive...

The prices are ridiculous, I'll agree with that. I'm a sucker and still pay though. My advice is just book further in advance so saving is easier.

    Which Resort?

Okw is a good deal but AA might be great as well.

    Coronado or Port Orleans

I'd say PO. I'm not a fan of all the conventions at Coronado and carribean.

    Biergarten Vs Coral Reef

I actually think both restaurants are overrated but if I had to choose I'd choose biergarden

My wife loves Taylor swift and we went to WDW 3.5 years ago and she was there. My wife knew this bc of her social media. Everywhere we went she was hoping to see her and we never did.

First Time at Disney! Is the amount of rides and shows which are postponed or closed normal?

I understand your frustration bc yes planning a WDW trip does need to be done in advance to macamize your trip. But when it comes to whole lands, shows and rides opening... there's no date in stone for them.

What to wear in Disney World

It'll be warm and humid. It's rainy season so a light jacket should be brought as well.

First Time at Disney! Is the amount of rides and shows which are postponed or closed normal?

Sime of what you didn't like I agre with but I'm more on the side of disagreeing with your assessment of your trip. I get that you planned in advance especially living over seas. Bc of that things that haven't opened yet is not WDW fault. More research could've helped you realize a lot of that...

    Wishes

I love wishes and hope it never gets replaced. I do have some things I'd change though. We went last holiday season and FP for wishes took up any good area to watch. That's absurd. First come first serve should always be the way for shows. I'd also recommend earlier times. Maybe this is changing...

If you could ask Bob Iger one question...

I'd ask him if his interest is to make money or have a place that makes everyone feel like a kid again. Seems he has gone further away from making you feel like a kid at the park and more into what makes money. Most corporations are about money and so is Disney. But Disney in the past rarely...

    Electrical Parades gone, now what?

I think WDW will bring back the electrical parade along with some sort a Christmas show like the osbourne lights eventually.

    Why so busy!?

WDW is becoming more and more popular. People looking at crowd charts and planning in advance his happening more and more. I'm not sure there will ever be a low season at WDW again. Yes there will be lower crowds but not a low season. We still go in what we "think" is low times, but they are...

    Advice for 2017 visit

Late April early May is a good time. After spring break but before summer crowds.

    Which park first?

If you think he'll enjoy Epcot then dont make that 1st day Epcot. Do a full day there another day. If you have dining and the party that night the Epcot day will be cut short, leaving him wanting to go back to Epcot which it sounds like you're doing, but he might feel like he didn't see MK...

    April or May 2017

One of our favorite times to visit. Good choice. We used to have to look in advance to make sure when we went wasn't during Star Wars week bc crowds are bad then. I believe WDW stopped that though bc Star Wars has just became more all over WDW with no need for a week. The flower and garden...
