If you are heading to MGM Studioes, try the ABC Commissary. They have a inexpensive breakfast with eggs, toast, sausage, hashbrown for around $6.00. You can also get waffles or pancakes for about the same price. Its never crowded and the service is fast.

:) I am not sure about the other question, but I was there last year over Columbus Day weekend and the parks were pretty busy. This year my fall break is over the Columbus Day weekend again and we are returning again, I can't wait!
