Putting "Soarin'" in my fictitious park

That doesn't sound feasible at all. In the first place, if the entire park was indoors, it would have to be a giant building, which is too impractical, in my opinion, especially since it would need to be VERY giant indeed for the castle and mountains. What's more, you can't run a train around...

Oh, darn. Fortunately, the delay doesn't seem too drastic.

Putting "Soarin'" in my fictitious park

I thought the ride was already indoors.

Putting "Soarin'" in my fictitious park

Why in the U.S.? I'm trying to go beyond the U.S. Besides, it's really difficult to do another one, let alone in the U.S., without making it different from the other two in the country. Plus, I want to do something in a different language other than English (it's too easy).

I wouldn't mind so much if they offset it with some of the classic shorts, some of which, believe it or not, can be found on Disney Plus. Mind you, the amount of shorts they do have are not a lot, but as a fan of the old cartoons, I should be thankful they have any shorts at all.

I don't recognize them, because I'm far less familiar with those cartoons than with the classics. The opening ceremony of the ride ended with the Goofy theme, of all things, so I take it to hope that it's included in the loop as well. But that's probably asking too much. I'm pretty sure, in any...

    News Reimagined Toontown coming

It's probably too soon to ask, but does anyone have a quasi-definitive list of all the songs that play in the land? From my scouring the various videos on the ride and the surrounding area, I notice that it has been changed drastically. All I can make out just by listening are the closing theme...

    News Reimagined Toontown coming

So I was watching the opening day ceremony video from the perspective of how the music loop may or may not have changed: This video features "The Mickey Mouse Club March" playing as Mickey and Minnie show up, and when the ride officially opened, they played the theme for the Goofy cartoons! I...

Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway - Disneyland

Actually, I was thinking more along the lines of the music loop in the land. Many, myself included, have been concerned that the whole music loop, comprised of snippets of the old cartoons, has been totally redone for the land, as per the many videos put up of the ride in general and the queue...

Does that mean it's still not reopening after being shut down for the fireworks?

Or that time when Donald hypnotized Pluto into acting like various other animals against his will:

Tiana's Bayou Adventure: Disneyland Watch & Discussion

I'm sure I'm not going to like the answer I will receive, but I must know... I understand they removed "Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah" from the music loop outside the park, but did they also remove it from the King Arthur Carrousel? I'm not sure if they still play it now, but I know they used to way back when.

Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway - Disneyland

It's been so long, but did anyone else at least defend it as a throwback to early animation then, too?

    News Reimagined Toontown coming

Update on the music loop: I'm watching a video of the ride, mainly for the queue, and they definitely play "The Mickey Mouse Club March", at least in the queue, which I believe was always part of the original music loop.

    News Reimagined Toontown coming

Technically, there are the little walk-up windows that served pizza (at Daisy's Diner), hot dogs (at Pluto's Dog House) and ice cream and yogurt (at Clarabelle's Frozen Yogurt), not to mention whatever Cafe Daisy will serve.

Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway - Disneyland

To be fair, that was prevalent in the original Florida ride, too. And yet, and I could be mistaken, but I don't remember there being any outrage over Pluto being kicked back then. Then again, the pandemic shut everything down just literally days later, so it's likely that that made this...

Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway - Disneyland

And yet, in "Steamboat Willie", Mickey was not above pulling on a cat's tail, as he does in "Steamboat Willie" to make it yowl in time with the music! He also squeezes on a duck's body and pulls its neck in and out, causing it make quacking noises like some kind of a trombone (or maybe it's...

Tiana's Bayou Adventure: Disneyland Watch & Discussion

If that's the case, then unlike with WDW, Disneyland guests would have almost no time at all to get in "one last ride" before it is shut down. And if you thought the fans were sad/mad to see it go in Florida with the time they had left, that would be almost nothing compared to how they would...

    News Reimagined Toontown coming

I will say, it is pretty cool that the windows in the land's buildings have been spared. I particularly like the one off to the right in the green building: It's hard to make out, but it's actually for Jiminy Cricket, who apparently is Toontown's resident motivational speaker. It reads "No...
