We are doing this for the first time in Jan 2013. We bought the AKL because the guide talked up the concierge level, so we are doing 4 nights AKL concierge and then moving to Beach Club for the rest of the stay. I am a bit nervous about it myself, but so excited to see AKL!

One of my biggest pet peeves with the Beach Club. Since Swan/Dolphin are technically not in the Disney Deluxe Resort Category, why do they share busses with the Beach Club and Boardwalk? They should have their own busses, IMHO.

I just looked at the calendar for my upcoming trip (15 days!!!!) and noticed that Tues Jan 1th the Magic Kingdom changed from an 8 pm closing to a 6pm closing with no fireworks. Thought it was strange-- never saw a 6pm closing without a party or something going on. :shrug:
