Southwest website crashed with all the people booking low fares today been on hold over 3 hours now. I will hold as long as I have to. Flight I want to book is 1/2 off ends today! Made it threw and saved $400.00. Because of the website problems they are extending the sale thru Friday.

We live 3 hrs south and go to Disney a lot. We always go the second week of Dec. every year. No crowds! First week has Pop Warner football that stays at the values but doesn't effect the parks much. Also have the taping of the Christmas Parade that first weekend making Magic Kingdom crowded...

They were there last week. Not to bad around the parks, but driving around after dark with our car hit quite a few.

We go last minute a lot. We live about 3 hours south. Never had a big problem, something always opens up last minute.

Could be Pop Warner is at that time and fills most of the value and moderate resorts so regular people upgrade and stay at Deluxe resorts to avoid the crowds. I know we do.

I heard you can buy purple bands at the stores that have the magic band for sale for the non resort guests. That color is not one of the free ones. Was told they were for sale around $5.00 at select resorts but they do sell purple sleeves for the magic bands.

Apple also has scooters that break down and the sections are not heavy. Its very easy to do. If the weight is a little over its not a problem it just uses the battery up slightly faster. My husband's scooter said 250lbs and he was 275 and had no problems.

Didn't see hats on your list you will need them, and a camera. Don't forget any medicines or vitamins you take. You know if your flying you could have water, soda, diapers ect. shipped to your resort or delivered by greengrocery.

Living in Fl I can tell you the weather is hit or miss. Some years cold others warm. Usually warm days and cool nights. Be prepared and check the weather reports before you go. It is the dry season then so rain shouldn't be a problem.

We plan on which parks for which days and do fastpass, but we kind of go with the flow of the day and if we don't make the fastpass, oh well. We too live 3 hours away and go a lot so if we don't see it this time will see it next time. Already have done almost everything once anyway.
