Two hotel reservations at the same time

I wasn't clear. We had a long reservation at one resort, and concurrent with that time, a two-night reservation at another. So, we were technically "staying" in two rooms simultaneously.

Two hotel reservations at the same time

I don't think that should be a problem. When we had our wedding at WDW last year, we technically had two rooms in two different resorts on the nights before and after the wedding. Disney understood and were fine with it. Bell services even transported luggage between the two resorts for us.

Why is Hollywood Studios Closing So Early in October?

To be fair, I can spend just as much time simply strolling and soaking in the atmosphere on Sunset Boulevard as I do having that meal in Brown Derby, but yeah, I can definitely miss some of the attractions you listed.

Why is Hollywood Studios Closing So Early in October?

Agreed. It's been years since we've spent more than two to three hours there, and that's only with a meal at Brown Derby.

    I hate cilantro!

My husband doesn't have the soap gene, but he still hates it. He thinks it tastes like sweaty gym socks. He's written a submission to ihatecilantro.com before.

If you could have your Disney wedding anywhere in a Disney park where would it be?

I don't love the idea of having a wedding inside a park, because having to do it before park opening or after closing seems inconvenient. I liked our Crescent Terrace wedding, Bluezoo reception, and Jellyrolls after party. If money were no object, I might have done a different event (like a...

When we were young and broke

We were in that very affordable post-9/11 era of deeply discounted Disney tourism when we first started going to WDW in our early 20s. We stayed at the Pop Century for our first visit, and didn't make any dining reservations. They weren't entirely necessary because the free dining plan...

    Disney wedding advice needed please!

The Queen brings up a good point about being able to link any reservation to a room block. I know that I personally have linked a 10-night stay to the room block of another couple on a message board just to help them meet their minimum. It didn't affect my pricing/package at all to do that...

    Best craft beer in Disney

The Brewers Association has pretty loose guidelines for what is "craft." The brewery just needs to be independently owned and produce less than 6 million barrels of beer annually.

    Disney wedding advice needed please!

I believe that in order to book an event through Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings, there is a minimum number of nights you (or a combination of you and your guests) must stay on property. The number of nights varies depending on the wedding package you're booking. You may be able to have that...

    Mixology Tickets

I don't believe the seminars are refundable. I'm trying to recall whether they're even transferable, but I don't think they are. I'm sorry you're missing the Festival this year. :(

    Best craft beer in Disney

I still think the Innis & Gunn over at the Scotland marketplace will be the thing that we get the most. I love Scotch ales.

    Best craft beer in Disney

Yeah, it does seem like there are fewer options at the Food & Wine Festival this year, or at least fewer that pique my interest. I like that they keep trying to switch it up, though. There isn't a single beer at this year's Craft Beers marketplace that was offered last year. Just change...

    Best craft beer in Disney

No, I'm aware of what's there, but it's still not a lot.

    Best craft beer in Disney

Hmm, there's not a great selection of craft beers on property year-round (or even during the Food & Wine Festival, for that matter). Dogfish Head 90-Minute IPA is probably the one I would recommend the most. It's available at Sci-Fi and the Flying Fish Café.

Onlookers at Ceremony? How private will it actually be?

You're right that Luau Beach is a little more open and likely to get foot traffic. People can stop and watch, but I think common sense would dictate that they'll keep a respectful distance, especially since Memories ceremonies are so intimate.

Food & Wine for First Time

How many times should we go to Epcot? We were planning on going twice, is it worthwhile to go more than that? Obviously your mileage may vary, but we like to cover ALL of the Festival Marketplace, which takes several meals. For instance, this year, we're planning on having "brunch" at the...

Having to Call to add Celebrations

I don't think it's necessarily to "save a few cupcakes", but I do think the company is scaling back on the whole celebration thing. Everyone is celebrating something, and everyone wants to feel special. I don't think the company wants to put as much emphasis on it anymore because guests are...

Drones may be used in Disney Parks in the future.

Technically, I don't think the FAA allows any unmanned aircraft to be used for commercial photography at all. Some people who do it say that they shoot for free, but charge for "editing."

    Disney wedding

Disney did place an autographed picture in our room saying congratulations when we were engaged, but they didn't do the same for our wedding/honeymoon. They do send out a little watercolor card with congratulations if you send an invitation to Mickey Mouse, though. The address is below:
