I wasn't clear. We had a long reservation at one resort, and concurrent with that time, a two-night reservation at another. So, we were technically "staying" in two rooms simultaneously.

I don't think that should be a problem. When we had our wedding at WDW last year, we technically had two rooms in two different resorts on the nights before and after the wedding. Disney understood and were fine with it. Bell services even transported luggage between the two resorts for us.

To be fair, I can spend just as much time simply strolling and soaking in the atmosphere on Sunset Boulevard as I do having that meal in Brown Derby, but yeah, I can definitely miss some of the attractions you listed.

Hmm, there's not a great selection of craft beers on property year-round (or even during the Food & Wine Festival, for that matter). Dogfish Head 90-Minute IPA is probably the one I would recommend the most. It's available at Sci-Fi and the Flying Fish Café.
