    Your Favorite Breakfast

It used to be Kouzzina. These days, I guess I'd say Olivia's Café. The menu doesn't ever look like much on paper, but they execute everything well. In my experience, the staff there are pretty enthusiastic about what they do, so don't be afraid to solicit their advice on what to order.

    Dumbo's Circus

I remember disliking both Dumbo's Circus and Welcome to Pooh Corner. Even as a small child with little to no taste, I recognized those shows as bad. Like a lot of shows aimed at the preschool set, there was a mellow tone that was supposed to be soothing, but came across as somber and boring. I...

    Lightroom tips and tricks

I feel similarly. I never had Lightroom before subscribing to Adobe CC. Prior to that, I had PSE at home and Photoshop CS6 at work, so I'm much more comfortable in that environment. I'm doing most of my fine-tuning in Photoshop and Camera Raw. Lightroom feels kind of foreign and not very...

There's a dedicated cancellation line at 407-WDW-CNCL, but you can call the regular dining line too.

    Best Dessert Dishes at Jiko

I disagree. That is the best answer.

Lounges that serve your favorite dishes

A wild boar appetizer or cheese board at the Cape Town lounge comes to mind, but of course it's so small that sometimes it's harder to get into the lounge than it is it eat in Jiko's dining room. The bluezoo lounge serves the full restaurant menu, plus a few pub items of its own. The crab...

    Help with Photographers Please!!

Agreed. It's also true of the full-time bargain shooters. There are some photographers popular in the Disney weddings community who are horrendous.

    Help with Photographers Please!!

It wouldn't hurt to query your photographer friend about their travel fee. In my case, our photographer was a close friend. She correctly presumed that even if she weren't taking our photos, she would be invited to the wedding, so she waived her travel fee. We only paid for her normal wedding...

    Help with Photographers Please!!

I brought in a photographer from my hometown who is a longtime friend. I'm much more comfortable behind the camera than I am in front of it, so I wanted to make sure that my photographer was someone who could put me at ease. If I had gone with one of the locals, it definitely would have been...

Any idea when reservations will open for the new Jungle Cruise restaurant?

In the past, when new restaurants have opened, ADRs have not been available until after the soft opening. As for specifics on the service type, I don't think anyone has that information yet.

    Le Cellier menu question

Go ahead and call during mealtime, because the 407-WDW-DINE hotline is not going to connect you to any restaurants anyway.

    Le Cellier menu question

It's actually not as easy to call a restaurant directly as it should be. But to answer your question, Le Cellier is exceedingly accommodating when it comes to substitutions. I wouldn't expect them to fulfill "off-menu" ordering, though.

Dining on final night of honeymoon??

I'm afraid that a lot of my favorites that would be easy to get into on short notice are heavily seafood-based. Maybe Il Mulino at the Swan? It's got a good date night vibe, and it's by far the best Italian food on property.

    Crowds during "Jersey" week???

Correct. It kind of depends on how the dates fall, but the last Halloween party is usually like the first or second of November, and Christmas decorations will start going up in the Magic Kingdom the next day. Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom will begin decorating in the first few days of...

Dining on final night of honeymoon??

The last dinner we scheduled for our honeymoon was Victoria and Albert's. It was a "save the best for last" kind of mentality.

    American Dream Slush

I've had one. I like slush drinks, but I don't think I'd go out of my way to get this one again. The slush parts don't have a ton of flavor, and the soft serve is a little too thick to drink through a straw.

    Guests at hotels?

We've had another couple visit us on property and stay in our room. To be perfectly honest, we've done it at French Quarter both the sneaky way and the legit way. They probably won't notice, but I can personally speak to the peace of mind that comes with paying the $15 fee for each extra...

    Engagement photos

The rules are actually very relaxed now. As of about a year or so ago, non-Disney photographers may officially take portraits inside the parks. The rule remains that only Disney Fine Art Photography may book closed sessions before park opening, though.
