My understanding is that only one Magic Band can be active at a time. People can have multiple Magic Bands that they can activate and de-activate at will but only one will work at any given moment.

That's highly doubtful for corporate quality storage. It's more likely that backup/disaster recovery for 20 TB would exceed $2k/month.
