Fate of Sci-Fi Cafe? Are we going to lose this too?

Agreed but when did sci fi open? People are saying it's been the same clips since opening. Would once a decade or two cause a big disruption? Lol

Fate of Sci-Fi Cafe? Are we going to lose this too?

Do they really need MORE sw theme? Seems a 50s drive in theater is extremely unique, popular and fits the 'Hollywood Studios' theme perfect. Don't see it changing.

Fate of Sci-Fi Cafe? Are we going to lose this too?

I'm expecting a decent burger and shake. The kids had options that looked good enough. If I wanted 4 or 5 * dining it probably wouldn't be at WDW and if it was it would be at one of the adult oriented places that have a fancy menu and charge for it. I'm guessing 90 min between getting seated...

Fate of Sci-Fi Cafe? Are we going to lose this too?

May I ask what day and time. And what food you got that was no good?

Fate of Sci-Fi Cafe? Are we going to lose this too?

5 and a half years later, and judging by the reservation difficulty this place isn't going anywhere. Probably most excited for this place on my entire upcoming trip.

Is there some sort of secret to snagging ADRs?

Just revisiting this old thread. Anyone looking to get tough ADRs sign up for mousedining, mouseseats, wdwpassport, mouse watcher, touringplans etc and dining alerts. They text you when people cancel, and people do cancel. Especially as you get closer to your actual trip dates. I'm a party of 5...

    Lunch Menu = Dinner Menu?

Hi Guys, Is this new since Covid? I noticed on pretty much every Menu I've looked at, Lunch is not just similar but IDENTICAL to Dinner. The prices are also the same, which is unusual. Don't really care too much but curious if its always been this way? And are there any current restaurants...

Order of importance ADR - strategizing

I would imagine in extenuating circumstances and if you're persistent enough to get a live person, they can probably override the usual process and hand pick spots for you. I'm sure they hold spots back for that type of reason, etc. And the right Disney CM can probably see canceled...

    Dinosaur has seen better days

they tricked me then haha. I think they could do much better with that section of the park. I guess it would be redundant to put South America or something there (too similar to Asia and Africa I think).....you could do North America and focus on Bears and all that but again kinda similar after...

    Via Napoli any good?

This is one of those generic looking restaurants that is ALWAYS popping up on my ADR searches. lol.

Coolest themed restaurants for kids - my plan

Ah, that does make sense then. I think my heart has become set on sticking with Chef Mickey's. The kids are 6, 7, and 9 and will enjoy the vibrant colors at Chef Mickey's, the monorail rolling through and the huge atrium. I know the food can be hit or miss (like pretty much every ADR)....But it...

What is the most over-rated and under-rated restaurants in WDW?

Maybe some guests got it but still didn't care for it? I know the sound of it didn't appeal to me.

What is the most over-rated and under-rated restaurants in WDW?

A friend just told me not to bother with BoG. Says was overpriced cafeteria and the food was mediocre and too heavy for a theme park in hot sun.

Coolest themed restaurants for kids - my plan

Just got Chef Mickey's for character breakfast on our off day. So excited. Deciding whether to even bother trying for 'Ohanna or not. I feel like my kids would like chef mickeys better and my wife and I might prefer 'Ohana for being quieter and the Hawaiian vibe. 'Ohana is also somehow cheaper...

    Dinosaur has seen better days

speaking of, I was watching a walk through of Animal Kingdom because I've never been and getting excited (and I'm a huge dork). The place looks magnificient......except one thing I noticed. In the carnival/fair looking section of Dinoland with all the game booths and triceratops spin ride whats...

Magic Kingdom TSRs adding liquor drinks

Wife and I'll probably get a single drink at dinner. We're not going to Disney to get drunk or spend all that extra money (unless its without kids, at Epcot Food & Wine, which may have happened with friends years ago) :)

Coolest themed restaurants for kids - my plan

Thank you to those who recommended the Landry's Club select membership. I paid the $25 1 time sign up fee, but you actually get $30 reward posted to your account. I was able to call just now and book T-Rex at pretty much the exact day and time I wanted for my family of 5. Yes!! (Near Disney they...
