You know the WDWRR is operated by Main Street Operations (MSO) which also operates many of the Main Street U.S.A. vehicles right? Some of these MSO cast members first worked as WDWRR conductors until six months later, they had the opportunity to be trained as engineers/fire(wo)men for six months.

Update: I've look through the Steam Across America magazine on page 68 and it predicts that Roger will eventually be back in service around next year. (if that's the case)

Hey, everyone, I've looked through a 1993 video, which shows not only the Lilly Belle is pulling the Roy O. Disney's blue cars, but she's also wearing the Roy's deep sounding American 3-chime whistle!

Again, I want to apologize for not believing in your comment saying that Lilly was pulling Roger's yellow cars on October 25. I sometimes get rather confused and misunderstood if you ask me.

Look I know wheel-slippage is dangerous and harmful to every locomotive far from it. But I was so steamed-off about some people on Twitter making very snide remarks to that rather unpleasant incident and claimed that the trainee doesn't deserve to be an engineer, which was very unconstructive...

I don't think the engineer is spinning the Lilly Belle's wheels "on purpose" mind you. I'm pretty sure there's a logical explanation on what happened here. But I hope someone goes under investigation on the WDWRR to ask the engineer on why she spins the Lilly Belle's wheels. 🤔

I think Lilly was the one that pulled Roger's yellow cars last Wednesday, before she retrieved her green cars the next day or Friday.

Sorry, I haven't been to WDW since 2018. I've already deleted my previous post, because I've realized it was rather rude and snarky. 😅 But I believe Walter and Lilly were the only two trains running. 🤔

I don't know about you, but like I said, I believe the yellow cars are probably back inside the roundhouse with the Broggie, who recently returned from Strasburg, but have not yet return to service.
