    News Roger E. Broggie overhaul

It sounds like a Morris Minor #1000 Van horn to me:

    News Roger E. Broggie overhaul

Yeah, but his grammar in the video title and description is really bad... He didn't bother removing the stupid YouTube Kids bot. 😖

    News Roger E. Broggie overhaul

WRONG, emerald green IS used by Tweetsie Railroad, Roger first wore hunter green like Lilly from 1971 to 2002 before retrieving it in 2023. Look at the two images again 🧐: Hunter Green (1971-2002, 2023-present) Emerald (Tweetsie) Green (2003-2019)

    News Roger E. Broggie overhaul

Something blows my mind; when Roger came back from Tweetsie in 2003, I kid you not he wore the same shade of green as the Tweetsie locos!

    News Roger E. Broggie overhaul

I hate how this discussion erased the Walt Disney World News Today website's initials... 😤

    News Roger E. Broggie overhaul

I'll admit that the brown stripe on Walter's tender wing looked way too thick: I think the brown stripe on Walter's tender wing should be a little thinner so that the red was visibly seen as shown in a 1970s photograph: I'm surprise Roger still retained that "spring green" stripe on his...

    WDWRR block signals manufacturer

I've looked through an early 2008 image of Roy departing Mickey's Toontown Fair on Flickr and it visibly shows one of the WDWRR's block signals. On the back, it labeled "RACO" a.k.a. Railroad Accessories Corporation: So, yeah, the WDWRR block signals were manufactured by RACO, just an FYI. :)

    News Roger E. Broggie overhaul

At least the engineer was trying not to spin Roy's wheels. What idiot at Main Street Operations thinks it was a good idea to remove the sanders on all of the WDWRR locomotives?

Magic Kingdom Railroad - How many trains run daily?

I heard the reason why Lilly wasn't reunited with her 200 series green coaches after her overhaul at Strasburg during 2016 is because she's now equipped with a battery box behind her tender, which replaced the steam generator. The 200 series cars don't have the power source compatible with the...

    News Roger E. Broggie overhaul

You can say that again, I've seen an early 2005 video of the engineer struggling to get Roy up the grade in cloudy conditions by opening the cylinder drain:

    News Roger E. Broggie overhaul

They did the same thing with Lilly before. She still had Roger's "yellow and white" cylinder pinstriping: She used to have the correct "red and yellow" cylinder pinstriping during the 80s-90s:

    News Roger E. Broggie overhaul

Yep, love that new tender logo and font design, it looks very aesthetic! ☺️ However, I was so disappointed that Roger STILL had the incorrect "red and yellow" cylinder pinstriping from Lilly! 😣 : Before Roger went to Tweetsie in 2002, he had the correct "yellow and white" cylinder pinstriping...

What is your favorite WDWRR consist switch?

We're all used to the WDWRR locomotives pulling their own car consist: Walter E. Disney: 100 series orange-red cars Lilly Belle: 200 series green cars Roger E. Broggie: 300 series yellow cars Roy O. Disney: 400 series royal blue cars However, the locomotives occasionally swapped each other...

Magic Kingdom Railroad - How many trains run daily?

WRONG! Actually, Lilly have recoupled to her personal 200 series green cars in late October 2018 just a few months before the WDWRR's temporary closure:

    News Roger E. Broggie overhaul

Not to mention Walter is missing the yellow pinstriping on the front of his cab, the bottom of his steam dome, and the brown top on his tender wing... :(

    News Roger E. Broggie overhaul

Nah, I've paid close attention to very small details and I'm 100% certain that the top photo was taken around 2004, because I can tell that Roger looks more an "emerald green" instead of a "deep hunter green" like Lilly. :p

    News Roger E. Broggie overhaul

Listening to both whistles carefully, Walter's Crosby 4 inch 3-chime had a lower note, while Roger's Lonergan 3.5 inch 3-chime had a somewhat higher note. I love seeing the Ten-Wheeler Twins both wearing whistles that almost sounded similar to one another. 🙂

    News Roger E. Broggie overhaul

Here's the 2001 image to prove my point and theory: Compare it with the so-called 70s-90s photo:

I'm talking about the cylinder not the headlamp. XP
