I think the locomotive entered service without a name on December 1, just 20 days before Roy passed on and the locomotive was given his namesake. So that will probably explain why the locomotive's namesake logo does not have a red background until it gains one in the mid 1970s.

Sorry, but I don't think they're going move Lilly's automatic ignition box towards the rear of her cab, because I believe the wires are too long and would interfere with the rails.

Maybe they're out of Disney dark green color. :/

Regardless, I love Broggie's idea of adding the brass eagle ornament on all of the WDWRR locomotives' sand dome. It makes them look ornate! :)

I believe Roy is going to get a brass eagle when he came back from Strasburg just like Lilly, Walter, and Roger. This was all Michael Broggie's idea. :) Watch this video around the 17:28 mark:

I honestly prefer Walter with the Buckeye whistle more, because every time I hear Lilly wearing Walter's original Buckeye, it started to remind me of Walter... :(

That's very incorrect, because Strasburg were ones who did the new tender logo on it. Look at the video of Roger under testing at Strasburg and you can visibly the newly redesigned logo on the tender underneath the covered tarpaulin:

Nah, I'd rather have Walter with the Crosby whistle so that way he and Roger would not sound too similar to one another or maybe give Walter his original Buckeye whistle back from Lilly. :p

Fun Fact: The WDWRR crew nicknamed No. 3 "Big Daddy Roger" due to them wanting to operate this locomotive everyday. :)
