What did you not know then, but you know now (and you feel embarrassed)?

    ...uh huh...so do I. It's a figure of speech.

What did you not know then, but you know now (and you feel embarrassed)?

Hahaha, aren't Texans Americans?? o_O I don't see anything wrong with having pride in your country or state. I think it's a good thing. I am proud to be Canadian. I view it more as "lucky" to be Canadian. I am lucky I was born and raised here as opposed to a third world country or something.

What did you not know then, but you know now (and you feel embarrassed)?

I didn't find it boring really, just very very "yeah! America!" Nothing wrong with that of course, just not my cup of tea because we tend to not be like that. I don't mean any offence by it, we just didn't see what all the fuss was about.

What did you not know then, but you know now (and you feel embarrassed)?

I didn't know you could book a 5th, 6th, 7th etc Fast Pass. Everything I read seemed to say something along the lines of "if you use up your three fastpasses you can book a fourth!" So we always just had four and thought we couldn't book any more than that. Mind blown when I found out. Didn't...

When your parent (or any parent) ruins an experience for you

My parents took my brother and I to Disney World when we were about 10 and 12. It was a weird age, because we felt like we were "too old" for disney at the time. I remember a few things: I wasn't super excited to go, but thought "hey, at least I'll see Mickey." I was wrong. My parents didn't...

    first trip in 15 years

Hey Kim, I did Disney world with just my boyfriend and I and we love it. You can go at the pace you want to and don't have to worry about kids. I highly recommend getting an early start to the day, and taking a break midday to go back to the resort. Weather or not you get the dining plan has to...

When another Guest ruins an experience/attraction for you

Similar to that, people filming fireworks on their phones. I'm short and I can't stand watching the fireworks just to have someone's giant smart phone blocking my view. Enjoy the moment, people! If you want to watch the fireworks again at home, there's YouTube for that.

My Unpopular WDW Opinion - post yours!

Yessss I say this all the time to people who claim it is expensive! It is "a lot of money" there is no doubt but for what you get it makes sense. After I experienced my first full day at MK as an adult with my boyfriend I said "you know, they could charge $200 a day and I would still feel like i...

When another Guest ruins an experience/attraction for you

First trip to WDW with my boyfriend May 2016. We were following a touring plan and hopped on the people mover for the first time. There was a woman in the car in front of us who was by far the most obnoxious woman in the world. Incredibly loud it was impossible to ignore her. We somehow still...

    Canada Pavilion Rant

Awwww I went for the first time a few months ago and loved the Canada Pavillion. I am from Toronto, and had been to BC once so I liked seeing all the beautiful gardens. The buildings, too. I agree there needs to be a Timmy's.

    Any absolutely BIZZARE CM/Character experiences?

This happened May 2017 in Epcot, World Showcase. My boyfriend and I met Jasmine in Morocco. Her and I started talking about clothes, since her outfit had changed. She mentioned that she loved wearing different outfits, to which I said: "Oh, except for the red one, right?" (implying it is evil...

Free dining and Caribbean Beach gift cards?

As far as I know the $75 gift card does NOT count as an offer or discount. It is due to construction only and is a separate thing altogether. It would be different if you trying to get free dining and a room discount.

    Scariest Ride at WDW

I completely agree! I went on it thinking "oh this will be nothing" and I wouldn't allow the spaceship to go any higher b/c I was totally freaked!
