Don't worry about it. As you're a Red Sox fan I never even gave it a second thought that you would have been able to! ;)

2012 Passholder benefits expire on December 31, 2012. All valid Passes will be subject to the enclosed benefits from January 1, 2012 through December 31, 2012. Using the new Disability Access Service DAS Card

In Florida almost every blue spot is a handicapped parking space which requires a placard to park in it and a fine/towing if you violate it. If you have an entire lot dedicated to handicapped parking, the law states that you must put a handicapped parking sign at the entrance to the area, and...

Out with the Vikings, in with princess

The King/Queen of England is the head of the Church of England. There is nothing wrong with royalty in a church, they've already been there for hundreds of years!

Soft drinks and other beverages increase in price across Walt Disney World quick service restaurants

I drink my soda out of the $.99 refillable cups at Universal and Sea World. Disney world is strictly free ice water. I don't need soda at those prices, but I'll gladly pay $1 to Universal / Sea World when or if I end up over there during a theme park day. Charge me a reasonable price and you'll...

"Rapid Fill" Mugs Coming to Walt Disney World Hotels

Actually Universal already has this. If you want to use the Coke Freestyle machines at the parks you have to buy a mug with an RFID chip in it. You're then limited to 1 refill every 10 minutes and if you try to refill too soon it gives you a countdown until your next refill on the Freestyle LCD.

Spaceship Earth closed August 18th-24th for refurbishment.

No details as to what will be done, but it doesn't seem long enough for anything "major." Hopefully it will get all spruced up and any broken or spotty effects can be fixed.

Tourists arrested for taking a "joyride on stolen Epcot golf cart"

That's not true. You can get a DUI on private property, and in a non motor vehicle. DUIs have been given out for people on bikes, and in my favorite case, a drunk hockey rink worker received a DUI on a Zamboni.

More new bathrooms coming to the parks!

While I don't think everyone will get as excited as with the Tangled bathrooms at MK, I saw this note on the Epcot refurbishment list made available to travel agents. Now – Fall 2013: Construction of new restrooms between The American Adventure and the Japan pavilion. ... And they say...

    New portable handheld ticket reader

I went through that on Saturday the 17th also at HS. It was being used to try to move people through the lines faster. Of course the foreign people in front of us didnt understand so 1 stood in the turnstyle and the other stood staring at the CM for about 30 seconds. Eventually I got to the Cm...

    Rumor from a Monorail worker.

Don't forget un-airconditioned. They feel wonderful when the temperatures hit 104! They also have to shut them down an hour before the fireworks, so they shut down during one of the peak times people might want to use them.
