We are contemplating a stay at the Caribbean Beach resort. We have never stayed here and any insights would be greatly appreciated. We would like to know the positives as well as the negatives.

It's a shame if Cape May will be closed during your trip. We absolutely love that place. I am a huge fan of crab legs and we often stay at Beach Club so it definitely is convenient. Hopefully things may change and you can dine there some time during your trip. Good luck with that.

Well said, We always stay onsite but last year we split out vacation to 8 days onsite and 3 days offsite. (had family come down who didn't wanna stay onsite) The extra travel time, parking, and getting to the front gates of theme parks after parking your car was more trouble than the cost...

Well said, I did find out from a CM about the policy allowing you to come back after the time on your fastpass but we always adhered to the time window on the ticket. So no major change as far as I am concerned.

Good to know since we will be there in less than 100 days now.:)

Just booked our third trip to POR, we have stayed at numerous Deluxe resorts but still keep coming back to POR. Great place and by far the best of the moderates.:)

I dropped Chef Mickey's because we have been there twice, and after the second time realized that once was probably enough.

Sounds like you got a great deal on your trip. If you want to save more money I would suggest changing the dining plan from Deluxe to the regular. Not as much food but still get the sit downs as well as snack and quick service restaurants. Being your first time you may just want to see if you...

Our never miss spot is Flame Tree BBQ in AK park. We also have tried Wolfgang Puck Express at DTD and enjoyed it as well.:)
