I feel that Disney really dropped the ball with getting Hollywood Studios ready to handle the crowds of Galaxy’s Edge - the Skyliner won’t be running until well after the massive crowds of opening day are gone and the park will be lacking its additional E-ticket ride that’s supposed to help...

Man what a let down.... I was totally expecting August!

Any ideas as to why this might be? If I'm not mistaken BlogMickey and PttP's pics from earlier in the week showed the same thing happening at Pop edit: I see that some of the fencing is grayish-black like the rest of the station and some is light gray; probably some painting taking place

Not trying to re-ignite an argument, but found someone on Twitter tweeting that they have an interview for the Skyliner this week; wonder if she's an opening cast member, and if so, how long does the turnaround from initial hiring to training to out on the job take?

Bathrooms were not revealed when he covered this. Additionally, I think both sites posted much better pictures of the entire thing today

And in classic fashion the site that will not be named posted the exact same thing twenty minutes later with the added "we know for a fact it's opening August 28th" thing

I love the shot at about 4:25, where you can see all of the towers down to Caribbean Beach and then the very high ones way back in the distance going to the Riviera.... This honestly cannot open soon enough

So is this August 28th segmented opening like a definite thing now or should this still be taken with a grain of salt?

Not to mention a lot of their action on stage is extremely tacky and cringe-worthy

What sort of scenario would cause them to have a segmented opening?

Great article updating us on the Pop/AoA and Hollywood stations - it looks like AoA's restrooms are essentially done, the permanent fencing has been installed around the entire perimeter of the station, and (most excitingly IMO) the walls on Generation Gap Bridge have started to retreat back and...

I think it would be really cool if they added a canopy like the one covering TRON's outdoor portion to Test Track's outdoor portion - it would enable the ride to run in rain and would make the nighttime ride experience that much more exciting. The other option would be to completely enclose it...

I know that the site that shall not be named posted a mediocre picture of one, but do we have any pictures of one where all of the text is visible?

Found an update on the Pop/AoA line today - looks like the permanent fencing for the station has finally been installed! Can be seen around the five minute mark.

Found this video of the HS station filmed today - noticed they have added these interesting little door flaps to the edge of the platform that match up perfectly to the edge of each cabin; thought that was a cool little touch. (Flaps are shown earlier on in the video)
