High ranking Imagineers Joe Rohde and Bob Weis expand their roles with Walt Disney Imagineering

No. His earring will have to get much larger and much weirder before he is accepted.

    Transportation

I cannot advise enough against the "official" DCL transport. We've done it once and will never do it again. It is very expensive compared to private transport, and you have almost no say in your times. There are lots of good and reputable private transport companies and services, you are **far**...

Bob Iger at WDW now ... BoD to Follow?

That makes much more sense to me than MK. Would love to see a lineup of Pixar, SW, and whatever Marvel stuff Disney can use in FL as the spine of the park.

I'd be OK with everything in Tomorrowland not getting a refurb if it meant Stitch going!

    April 18th Sailing

Awesome! Have fun! We love sailing with or without kids--it's easier to complete a passport (or 2...or 3...) at Skylines without having to worry about kids!

Bob Iger at WDW now ... BoD to Follow?

I know this has been referenced before in some terms, but I'm not sure I've ever seen the actual numbers. Disclaimer: these are just my cartographic observations, I make no claims to inside knowledge of current or future plans. I visit 2-3 times a year but have lived 1500 miles away for more...

    Bahamas

Costa Maya isn't about the port facilities. Yes, they are tacky, but they are also a gateway to several sets of Mayan ruins that were spectacular. Unfortunately, the same can't be said for Nassau. We've tried Atlantis, we've tried walking around town, we've tried city and historical tours. And...

    Bingo

It depends on the day/game, last time we did it. For the bigger jackpots I think it's $20.

Bob Iger at WDW now ... BoD to Follow?

While I agree on a personal-use-of-time with several of the M&G detractors, I do think they have their place. Bringing us back on topic, I even hope they go into the new DHS areas. Can you imagine the popularity of some SW M&G possibilities? I happen to enjoy rides, both thrilling and...

Bob Iger at WDW now ... BoD to Follow?

We acted like the Frozen Girls didn't exist when we were there in Feb. We got them "out of the way" on the cruise ship (where they are the *only* meet & greet that is a separate ticketed event) so we could avoid waiting in lines in the parks. Worked quite well. No one tell my nieces.

Fun With Numbers: First Six Months 2015 Edition

We also love the first full week of December. Awesome time to catch the lull in crowds between Thanksgiving (bad) and Christmas (don't bother). All the Christmas decor is up, MVMCP is in full swing if you so choose, and again, almost no one there.

Fun With Numbers: First Six Months 2015 Edition

We've done Labor Day as well (we've done every month except June, actually...) If we can get a 2nd WDW trip in for the year, we usually shoot for the last week of Sept. Weather's cooling a bit, MNSSHP is running, Food & Wine going, and also nobody there.

Bob Iger at WDW now ... BoD to Follow?

Like so many things, I miss what it was. It's sort of like a beloved family pet that you've had to painfully observe getting old. It's not what it once was and it just makes you nostalgic for the past, and sad for its present.

Fun With Numbers: First Six Months 2015 Edition

Great analysis, thanks. Reinforces my annual pilgrimage timing. We typically try to go last week of Jan/first week of Feb. Best crowds, best temps, etc.

Disneyquest seems to have been slowly closing for at least a decade and a half now. Sort of ironic that it's turning into a sports-based venue after all those years of it being rumored to be a new/transplanted ESPN Zone.

    shorter cruise after longer one

Agreed. We did one last 3-day a few years back when they ran a "3-day for $99" promotion in early December.

    Magic Kingdom Proposal ideas

As someone who proposed at the Magic Kingdom (see my profile pic, yes that's a live action shot), I think MK is viable if you are smart about timing. If you go during EMH or a ticketed event, you'll reduce your crowds. Also if you wait until the end of the night, most ppl are gone. August makes...

    Cruise with a baby?

We've cruised twice with babies, when each of my nieces were very young. We had a fantastic time. As was previously said, the nursery staff are great and are very attentive to the kids. They were great about calling my sister and brother-in-law when they were needed, but not calling too much. We...
