If you are spending most of your time at your resort I would try to upgrade to a moderate. we love POR. Also, you could take the boat to DTD from there on Sunday, though, it might be crowded down there cause all the locals come in on the weekends. Its a nice relaxing ride, though.

We have stayed at POR many times and found that if you get on the bus at the main bldg. where the food court is you will usually get a seat. seems like we waited a long time for the DTD busses. take the boat to DTD. enjoy your stay at POR. its awesome.....

LTT would be my choice but get your ADR's in first minute you can.......

Is there a special reason you picked the deluxe plan? Thats one heck of a lot of food. You might want to re-consider and stay with the regular plan. IMO.......

If we drive its getting to the Florida welcome center and driving under the gates of WDW. If we fly, its arrival at MCO and seeing all the palm trees and smelling the Fla. air.

There's nothing better than experiencing disney through a childs eyes the first time. It so magical. YOu will LOVE it. there are so many new attractions and shows and parks. Trust me, you will have a really wonderful time. go and enjoy.......

I dont think I could stand not going to MK the first day. However, since its from 5-8, maybe you could do AK and then MK for a full day next day? Nawwww....I couldnt do it..........go to MK first.......:lol:

I agree,too, unless you get a pin with a huge discount. we have always stayed on site cause I cant stand being away but may have to start considering the off site rentals next visit. Its too bad......

Wow, that was a nice thing to say. Im not from the south and that bothers me........Anyway, they use a device they put over the screen that usually people dont notice and it reads all the cards and pins so they can use them. Pretty gutsy to do it at WL, though. People are getting desperate...

We always request 70's building, top floor, overlooking the lake. Its wonderful up there and quiet and close to the food court and busses....

We have to get a big ice cream sundae at Auntie Galactica's in the MK. we also sit in the rockers on the porch at LTT. and behind Tinkerbells shop is nice and quiet and shady area.

theres a romantic carriage ride at POR and its very inexpensive....

If your days are flexible I would look into early February. Make it before Presidents day, though....
