Ever have regrets after a WDW trip?

I agree with you about this...every time we return from a Disney trip we say we need to slow down and just enjoy being there more. It's just not in my nature though...we love to get to the parks early and then we just go, go, go until we drop!:)

    Weather In November

My family went the week after Thanksgiving last year, and it was actually quite warm most days (at least for that time of year). Most days temps were in the low to mid 80's, and it only rained one night. We had been watching the weather the week before our trip, and also watched it the week...

    Holy STROLLERS batman!!

I was at WDW last month, and my impression was there were many more personal strollers than there had been in the past. Also, for the Disney strollers, singles appeared to outnumber doubles 4 to 1.

SSR in October - Dining Plan or not?

My family used the DDP on our trip last year and loved it. Our kids are still young enough where they love the character meals. We also had a great table service meal in Italy for the Candlelight Processional at Epcot. The new plan isn't quite as good, but if you plan to eat a daily talbe...

    It's a small world

This was our first time to go w/out kids since our youngest was less than a year old. We were there for a triathlon, and spent an extra couple of days just having fun. We spent alot of time just roaming around Epcot, which our kids aren't necessarily real fond of.

    It's a small world

Even as our kids get older, Small World is still one of our family's favorites. My wife and I recently even rode it on a trip without the kids!

    We did it!!!

Well, after much research, going back and forth, and help from this community, we decided to buy into the DVC:sohappy:! Our home resort is SSR. However, we have already booked our first trip for this December and will be staying in the Boardwalk Villas:xmas:. The ability to walk to two...

    DVC?'s...please help

Mike, Thanks so much for your advice and input. Your first paragraph sums up how my wife and I feel about the DVC, at least certainly on the "pros" side of things. While the primary intent is to vacation at Disney resorts, the world passport collection looked and sounded like a great secondary...

    DVC?'s...please help

Thanks Joe and no problem...I will definitely check again on the maximum number of guests, but the DVC rep at SSR told us that 5 would be fine, as long as it fit our needs. All of our kids are young now, so it may not work in the future.

    DVC?'s...please help

dizMom, Thanks for your input! We feel that DVC is a great plan, we have just been hesitant to pull the trigger. One of the primary factors is other vacation options. And since you are paying already, why not use the options offered through DVC, right? Have you used any of the other...

    DVC?'s...please help

Disney Joe, Thanks for your thoughts...I realized in re-reading my initial post that I failed to mention the sales rep at SSR told us that staying in a studio or 1 br at DVC resorts would not be a problem for a family of 5, even though they supposedly accomodate only 4. Hence, my comparison...

    DVC?'s...please help

I have spent alot of time researching DVC on this forum, have also researched mousesavers and all ears, and attended a DVC presentation at SSR. It seems that each time I get an answer, it leads to more questions. There are obviously lots of knowledgeable people on this board, so I wanted to...

    Restaurant help/info needed

I apologize that I can't be of any help answering your question, but I was wondering about the early morning safari and breakfast at Tuskers that you mention. What exactly is that? Thanks!
