Honestly without the tree stump I don’t think there’s much of a sight line to care about anymore. Plus I think the gift shop resembles more a structure you’d find in the bayou region, so it could make for a nice transition from the “downtown” New Orleans Square to Bayou Country.

My best guess? An artist made it for an international premiere/promotional event to promote Toy Story or Toy Story 2. It looks too off-model to be something produced by Pixar/Disney themselves so I’m assuming it was made for one of the earlier films.

I agree! Something I like about TBA is the frog/dig a little deeper scene (minus Godzilla Louis and Tiana on screen)- it’s colorful with the neon paint, the jumping water is cool, and the music makes the scene feel lively. You and I both. The fact they had to explain one of the main sight gags was already enough.

It’s still so sad to me how much they went out of their way to emphasize how Lari is such a clever sight gag and the character plays a big role in the ride’s story. It’s like they felt they outdid themselves with their placement of a few statues.

Sleeping Beauty- It’s crazy to me that none of the parks have ever had a Sleeping Beauty dark ride. The finale alone could be a whole attraction on its own (and looks like it will be based on that Villains land concept art).
