Just like more and more standardized testing in public schools. Every aspect of our lives is getting more streamlined...Easier to control the masses that way. And the movie, new attraction tie in seems to make tons of money...way faster, than a completely thought of new concept/theme.

The theming on this is a joke. the boat travels at the same lame slow speed all the way through until the climatic drop. No build up whatsoever, except for a scary dinosaurs that are barely animated.

Well, it is Universal....Disney would have done much on the theming and overall product than Universal.

Who said I wanted to "discuss" drops? I posted what i thought the ride needed. I did not infer in any way that i wanted a dissertation on logistically if it was possible or not. Your disagreement is hardly my concern.

We went at the beginning of May and this place was WAAAAAAAAAAYYYYY to cheesy and hetero.

What doesn't make sense, is why you are pressing this point with me. If the drop is big enough, the rise back up could be just as big, therefore, still plenty of space(height) for a long enough ride. So, i want some drops...big deal...get over it please.:p

When I rode SM with the lights on it looked like there would be pletny of room for some bigger drops...like I said, I am not talking 20 story drops here, just enough to give you more of that weightless feeling.

-forgive me- but at DL, There is nothing like the ambience of Pirates and New Orleans Square....ESPECIALLY at Night ....then throw Haunted Mansion in the mix.

DROPS!!! The ride needs DROPS!!! Drops in the dark are the best thrill! They do not have to be great big Six Flags size drops, but some decent ones please. Although the refurb at DL SM is very cool....I cannot believe they kept the SAME track layout. All those right turns?! Good grief! Im all...

a week ago , we did one of those little boat rides around the waterways there, and the boats stop right under the bridge to France...AWESOME VIEW of the fireworks. It was wonderful!

As I said in my previous post...On Sat May 5th, we got them around 10am coming off of Haunted Mansion. And a little while later, some friends we were travelling with got them coming off of Space Mountain.

I heard that a computer randomly generates when and where they are to be distributed. And then the crew sets out.

On Sat (5th) We got the dream fast passes in the Magic Kingdom coming off of Haunted Mansion...it was around 10am i think. They had all the good rides...except Pirates, oh, and of course it contained a fast pass for Stitch...it went unused needless to say.

Gays have families, come from families and are part of families. Seems opretty family oriented to me.:brick: So what was your concern?

Personally, I am glad the thread was started. And even if 5 trains are running smoothly, there still could be behind the scenes issues. Regardless, I have found a lot of what people have posted regarding how these things operate pretty interesting. I like getting somewhat of the bigger picture...

The fact that Splash Mountain has THREE drops is totally rad! Then, after the big drop you still get more ride! More animatronics to see. Its such a great ride. Why cant more be this well thought out and executed?!
