AFAIK, they CAN park four monorails in the Contemporary, with two nose-to-nose on each beam, and close the storm doors. However, in nearly 30 visits, I've never seen this happen.

The trick is to plan your vacation around when an event is occurring. My last vacation happened to coincide with Destination D in Disneyland and I had no problem getting to California from New York. But, I suppose that's not for everyone. I agree with you about the magazine.

Interesting observation. I'm from the Northeast, and we seem to only put "the" in front of highways with a name instead of a number, as in "The Thruway" or "The Garden State", whereas a numbered highway would just be called "84".

My soon-to-be husband isn't interested in going to Disneyland or Disney World, so I guess that I'll just continue to go with my mom (my dad doesn't like to go as often as we do, either). My mom and I spent two weeks in Disneyland last year and it was great, and my fiancee survived without me.

When I went to Disneyland last year, Pinocchio was a walk-on when Peter Pan, Snow White, Alice in Wonderland, and Mr. Toad all had long lines. Also keep in mind, Pinocchio is not original to Disneyland's Fantasyland; it was added during the major 1983 (I think that's the year) refurbishment...

I suspect you'll be able to purchase the entire set at a future D23 event. I was able to purchase the entire Future World patch set at Destination D at Disneyland last year.

I actually like the Christmas Special better than the regular show.

I would suggest walking TO Epcot and MGM, and then at night when you're tired, take the boat back. However, keep in mind that after Illuminations and Fantasmic, those boat docks are horrendously crowded. It's great to be able to walk back to the hotel and forego the transportation lines. Also...

"Disneyland-style" is the key word here. Nara Dreamland was "Disneyland-style" and you'd never want to go there.

Tokyo Disneyland still has the Christmas show and the Vacation Hoedown. They'll never come back to WDW... at this point I'm glad that the CBJ is even still open at all.

Not sure what you mean by locking the wheels together, but CM's can and will move your stroller if it's in the way or they want to re-organize the stroller area (happens a lot in Fantasyland).

I saw both Mad Hatter shirts at the World of Disney in Disneyland.

I don't know if Disneyland is offering transportation, but it's close enough that you can walk.
