Is Disney addictive like a drug to you?

They say admitting you have a problem is the halfway point towards solving it. You are in trouble :lookaroun if any of these excuses belong to you when speaking of Disney: I DON'T HAVE A PROBLEM, YOU DO (deny, deny, deny - the best defense is a good offense!) I CAN STOP ANYTIME (the fake...

    NYE Dining

Try Yachtsman's steakhouse in Yacht Club - or Shula's or the Sushi in Swan. Just as nice, still in the area but probably not booked yet.

    Strategy: The Kitchen Sink

No matter if it's just you or a few people - the trick to this is to order something very salty to pick on as you go (yes, I said order MORE food!) Fries are a good choice, put alot of salt on. The bulk of the potato will help with the liquid and squish out the air in your stomach from the...

    Opinions on where to eat?

Good luck getting sit down reservations at 22 days out :ROFLOL: My favorites and you will usually have no problem getting in are: Biergarten, Whispering Canyon Cafe (B or L), Citricos, Earl of Sandwich, Yachtsman's Steakhouse. Enjoy!:slurp:

my attempt at a disney delicacy

That looks really good! I wondered how they got the "ears" to stay on. My suggestion - try a little bit of royal icing (confectioners sugar with water) great "glue". I use it on gingerbread houses, the stuff is like cement! Leave it for an hour or two then cover the whole thing in chocolate...

    2011 Dining plan restaurant options

Don't worry about either restaurant. If San Angel or Teppan Edo are unavailable for ADR's, try calling when you reach your resort room - sometimes there are last minute cancellations and you will get in. Also, when you go to EPCOT, go to each place that day and ask about availablility...

    All-Inclusive Resort?

I was just thinking why doesn't WDW open an all-inclusive resort (like the cruise line only on land)? It would be nice to have an absolutely pay one price-all-included resort stay. Do you think it will ever come to this?:veryconfu

Need help for a birthday dinner

Go to Wilderness Lodge - Artist's Point is very nice, a little upscale-ish, but my absolute favorite is Whispering Canyon Cafe. It has an all-you-can-eat skillet of BBQ favorites :slurp:which are quite good and the atmosphere cannot be beat. Make sure they know it's your birthday! I would...

    GF "Dormer" Rooms

Does anyone know if Grand Floridian still offers "dormer" rooms, they are on the 3rd floor with the smaller balcony? I seem to remember them being offered at a lower price than the standard room. Are they any cheaper than a regular room, or are they considered teh standard room? Thanks for the...

    Snakes

I was at WL in July 2008 and as I was walking to boat launch saw something black and long on the deck. I told my Dad to hold up - I think that's a snake up there and sure enough, some couple and their young daughter came up on us and saw it too. I said it was a snake, man said no - and started...

    Towel animals from housekeeping

I was on a cruise a while back and went to a class they had about how to make them and then bought the book. I make them for when I have guests over and they love them! Really easy to make, but they come out better with "stiff" towels. (try air drying towel without fabric softner)

    Non-buffet, non-character breakfast restaurants

Go to Whispering Canyon Cafe in WL- it's kinda like a show in itself, food is pretty good (they have good BBQ - a bottomless skillet of all sorts of goodies) and bottomless shakes :slurp:. Chew gum, ask for katsup and a longer straw and be sure to wear a sea world t-shirt!:ROFLOL:
