I need a definitive answer on the land issue at WDW....

As you can see from the maps, yes there is plenty of land left yet to expand upon. As for specific numbers, well that sort of changes by the day as Disney will repurpose facilities and land at the drop of a hat so some of it depends upon your definition as to what is developed. Also, remember...

who has gotten a candy creation from Miyuki?

I now present for you, Scary Ti-ger!

who has gotten a candy creation from Miyuki?

So first off, I'm a Miyuki hog, I can't go to Epcot without seeing her. I've gotten a pink unicorn, a blue hummingbird and a yellow dragon. I still have two of them, the humming bird got crushed in transit. And I agree with the earlier poster that she definitely picks those who are quiet and...

    Cindy's castle suite

Wow, $587 a night is a steal for that place. I'd book it for a month at a time :sohappy: a little trivia, the suite is actually in the room reservation system so CMs can check if it's empty or not -- its listed as part of the Contemporary.

    October 2009 Role Call!!!

Ok, what the heck, I'll join the party. We'll be there with another couple sometime mid Oct, but I don't think we're gonna catch MNSSHP this time. Guess I have to pack my wdw magic shirts :-)

What's the lateset you've stayed in one of the parks after closing time???

Awesome stories, wish I could have been at Epcot 25. Anyways, technically I didn't "stay" but I got a tour from a third shift engineer of DAK so after working I grabbed some dinner and then came back and we walked the park from 12-1AM. Let me tell you, that park is spooky at night, just the...

    Motivational Posters act II

so all arguments and complaining aside, great job everyone! love your work. I thought I'd throw one together quick (sorry don't have photoshop at work so I'm working in a free tiny program). enjoy! P.S. if anyone is offended, sorry, I e-mailed this to the pictured CM and he laughed

    Gossip phone?!

Wow, what wonderful lists you've all provided. I learned something new, yay! I love not only the "secrets" but also Disney's attention to detail. So here are a few more secrets and factoids that may spice up your trip. (if I have time I'll add a few more later) 1) The American Adventure...

$30 and a 'World' of possibilities!

10 Tollhouse Cookie Sandwiches for me please :-) Give me an ice cream and a bench to people watch at WDW and I'm a happy camper! (that's not a bad signature, I may have to consider it)

    Biggest Attraction Downgrade

AE to SGE in a heartbeat. I could never get enough of that alien walking on my shoulders (although I could never seem to get the bars to fit properly :p)

    Are you 23?

I can't figure out any connection to 23, but since I hadn't seen it posted yet, Miley Cyrus's memoirs are scheduled for a March 10th release. (I'm still thinking its a club announced at the shareholders meeting)

This is why I hate college!!!!!

Lucky you! I had an English teacher in high school with the same close-minded views. Disney was the epitome of all that was evil and wrong with the world in his eyes. Being a Disney devote' I elected to write my senior thesis on Disney (The success of WDW and fulfillment of Walt's original...

    Kilimanjaro Safaris question

You make a good point MKCP, but two quick points to you: 1) Safari drivers have the freedom do give you nearly any of the information you could want, and encouraged to do so. It's just impossible to do so in only 20 minutes. I'm sorry if your safari driver neglected some of the animals to...

    Tours in WDW

I absolutely love the tours at WDW. I've done: -Keys to the Kingdom 3x (#4 coming up in July) -Backstage Magic -The Undiscovered Future World -Behind the seeds 6x Here's my take on them, sorry if it goes on too long. Each has a very different audience to it as well as different...

Characters found at one park only

Can't say they're the most popular characters, but Carnotaurous and Connirsaurous (sp?) can only be found in Dinoland at DAK.

    Acronyms

With DME I typically get to my resort around 45-50 minutes after I get on the bus (which could be up to 20 minutes after I land) and then of course you need to take some sort of transportation in to the parks so 1 hour seems pretty impossible to go from landing at MCO to MK. Sorry :-(

    Fantasmic

lol, go for it. The control room is that little tower in the back of the amphitheatre that kinda looks like air traffic control. As for it being in a separate area unlike the other night time shows, just think about how much easier that makes it on the CMs getting people out. I kow it seems...

    Fantasmic

Well . . . now that you mention it, they do sell red and yellow fleece blankets that fold up into a pouch that serves as a seat cushion :ROFLOL: As for the show, I understand that it may not be for everyone, it's character heavy and yes its quite a chunk of time to devote, but having seen the...
