My DH and I took this about 3 years ago. We felt it was well worth it! I don't think it destroys the magic...the magic happens when you enter WDW! However, I do tend to ramble on about little known facts to family and friends while pointing at stuff now in the park....:p

I've always felt that the Contemporary was a nice place to visit for dinner, but WL was a fantastic place to stay. To me, the ambience of WL makes up for it not being on the monorail. And you still have easy access to the MK.

So glad we ate there last year (usually go to Flame Tree)...and now so sad we'll never get the chance to have that chicken again.:(

Besides using TSA locks, we also put identification inside our suitcases. If your luggage gets lost and loses its tag, it will end up in a dead suitcase area somewhere. They try to find the owner, but without IDs inside they sometimes have no way of knowing. (And I've had a TSA lock cut off...

We have done this before from OKW to get to the Poly for breakfast. You just have to make sure to be out there very early to catch an early bus. It does save on money, but it's a nail biter at times. :lookaroun

We managed to get a 2:40 reservation for our trip in October...does anyone know if that's going to be lunch or dinner? The operator didn't have a clue and it's been so long since we last ate there that I can't remember!

We love staying at Yacht & Beach Club or Boardwalk so we can walk into both EPCOT and MGM. And you can walk through EPCOT and take the monorail (with a change at the TTC) to MK. Can you tell we hate waiting for busses?!:lol: These are great places to stay, too. Enjoy your stay on property...it's...
