We always saw a special Easter parade during that time. The crowd for it was horrendous, though, so we would position ourselves near the exit for a quick get-away!:wave: (We felt the parade was kind of lame, anyway!:snore:)

If you go expecting crowds...why not go?! I love the smell of the lilies everywhere! Since the park is open late, I think I'd stick around after lunch. One trick we did during Easter week when the crowds got on our nerves was to ride over to Tom Sawyer's Island. My DD and I used to love to have...

Sad to see them go! I remember seeing pictures of them as a kid and thinking that's where I'd stay some day with my family. Sigh.

In our family, you're required to be holding a Dole Whip Float when the fireworks begin!:slurp: We've gotten others around us running to get one before the first firework hits!:lol:

We saw Drew Carey. Very nice guy! He talked quite a bit about "Who's line is it anyway" with my daughter. (Her favorite show at the time) He said he had a ball doing the show and the funniest stuff was often left out!

We've always been interested in the town of Celebration and thought we'd like to visit it. We'll be down in two weeks and thought we might catch a cab (no car, we're using the Magical Express) there for breakfast and to walk around. Is this feasible? A dumb idea? And I hope it's all right to...

Anyone that goes to WDW with us has to experience the joy of eating Dole Whip floats while watching the evening fireworks. I honestly think this should be a required activity while at the Mk...it makes the fireworks, um...sparklier!:lol:
