What is your one favorite underrated attraction in all of Disney World?

Gran Fiesta Tour Starring the Three Caballeros. Just a beautiful scene from the San Angel Inn, fun music and some of my favorite classic characters - Donald and Jose Carioca. If you've seen Saludos Amigos and The Three Caballeros, you would understand my love. Art, music, dancing, scenery...

    Preferred Rooms - Value Resorts

From my experience, building 1 (Dalmatians) at All Star Movies is preferred. The six buildings closest to the main lobby building and pool are preferred. And it's worth every extra penny.

Best strolling option for a 4 & 6 year old

My kids are also 2 years apart. They're too big for them now, but we used just bring 2 cheap small umbrella strollers for the kids when they were kindergarten age and younger. I would push one kid, DH would push the other. They're easy to fold up for the buses or other transportation. And...

What kind of AP do you have? I saw articles about block-out dates for seasonal passholders (Silver and Week Day Select) when Toy Story Land opened.

    Solo Dining

If you're up for some monorail/MK area resort hopping, the quick service restaurants in that area aren't bad. And I love to go shopping there.... I really like the turkey sandwich at Contempo Cafe in the Contemporary. It's been a while, but I've also had decent meals at Capt. Cook's at the...

    Non-Buffet Dining Suggestions

Yes, it's delicious, but isn't Narcoossee's a 2 credit? If we're talking 2 credits, I'd throw in Le Cellier... mmmmm, steak.

    Non-Buffet Dining Suggestions

Just a warning, we like steaks and tend to eat adventurously. In MK: Skipper Canteen - interesting options, not bland, can be slow sometimes, love the steak salad Plaza Restaurant - good sandwiches, very quick, small dining room Tony's Town Square - very Olive Garden-ish Italian, but not bad...

Just for fun.... You have the chance to work any job in WDW, what would you like to do??

I'm a big boss on the customer support side of a large organization. Angry customers, stressed out support staff, crummy products, disinterested operations folk, incompetent engineers, etc. I like to joke that I'm retiring at 52 to mash the big red and green buttons to operate the Dumbo ride...

Rank the Classic-Style DL Dark Rides

Alice Snow White Peter Pan Pinocchio Toad Pooh Roger Rabbit This is too hard.... I know Alice is #1, 2 - 5 are all a close second to me. With all of these options, now maybe you understand why MK rarely meets my expectations. Take away a perfectly good dark ride and replace it with a 60...

You can have any WDW meal/food item RIGHT NOW, no matter where you are. What is it?

One of those waffles with nutella spread and fruit in it from Sleepy Hollow in MK. Best breakfast ever.....

What is the timing like for Dumbo?

My completely made up guesstimate from previous visits goes something like this: 10 minutes in the pager line 20 minutes of playtime (rest time in the bleachers for the adults) 10 minutes in the line to actually go on the ride

DVC Rentals - Contemporary vs. Poly vs. Grand Floridian

That's a good point, I didn't think about the walking option for the Poly. From the floorplans, it looks like Grand Floridian also has split bathrooms.

Fantasyland Expansion: Beauty and the Beast or Frozen or Something Else?

I would like to see Tangled (Rapunzel) get more than just The World's Fanciest Toilet. I'm willing to argue that Tangled is better than Frozen and never got the recognition it deserves. I've beat this horse before, here I go again..... It should be a dark ride. The track should be...

DVC Rentals - Contemporary vs. Poly vs. Grand Floridian

Since it's only a few days, studios are fine. There's just 4 of us and the kids are used to sharing a bed when we travel. Though, we went to Hawaii this past summer and only stayed in one bedroom timeshares/condo resorts. It was amazing. Full kitchens, private laundry, extra bathrooms...

DVC Rentals - Contemporary vs. Poly vs. Grand Floridian

Have some background... I have an RV, we used to just take that to Fort Wilderness every year in the winter or spring. I love the MK resort area. But then we started taking additional quick trips to WDW or DL in November and February. For these quick trips, we'd stay at All Star Movies. All...
