    Skyway News

It would be nice if they could turn the station into a blue sky cellar to showcase the coming attractions like they do in DCA in the old winery building ; )

    Starbucks in Disney?

I'm all for it! While basic starbucks black coffee is over roasted, they know how to make a latte. Hoping they bring some Tazo teas with them as well!

Fantasyland expansion a go - CONFIRMED

Just back from D23. I said it before when the blueprints were posted...I'm underwhelmed. It looks fantastic but I can't get past the core offerings of a cloned LM ride, a duplicated current dumbo ride and a series of meet and greets. It will be nice to explore initially, but I think subsequent...

Food and Wine Festival Information Updated on Official Site

I just went to my first wine festival here in Colorado. We paid $27 and that included your tasting wine glass, wine bottle tote that held 6 bottles if you purchased and all the wine you cared to sample. I've not been to the EPCOT F&WF before. Do they offer something similar? The only thing I...

Living with the Land Refurbishment 8/2/2009

I wish they would bring back the "listen to the land" song :animwink:

    Beastly Kingdom Is Back

Looks nice and fits well with that park, but I honestly don't know if I'm jumping up and down for this to come to DAK. Might be easier to retheme test track if P:G ever came to pass and turned into Discovery World ; )

    The New Fantasyland

Wow, 85 pages of postings...that's quite a bit of time I'll never get back :animwink: Some interesting thoughts and discussions though. Just my .02: while I'm not dissappointed I'm not really excited either at this time. I'll reserve judgement if and when an official announcement is made...

    Ticket Price Increase?

Increases will happen whether we agree on them or not. Disney knows that its a gamble they will win. Disney is many things including a right of passage, nostalgic and a bottom line escape from reality (which sucks for a large portion of the world these days). Until folks stop going (unlikely)...

    Leave A Legacy Stones Gone?

Temporarily leaving a legacy is a bit of a contradiction. For those of us who took part in the program, I'd like a refund if this comes to pass. Of course, I never remember reading any fine print and may be out of luck if there is a time limit that has matured. I think burning folks...

    Palmickey

Mine quickly became a backpack accessory. I never like that they didn't have a volume control on him (was hard to hear sometimes outside). As a collector, I'm happy to have one and enjoyed the time I used it. I let my nephews bring him along when we go and they like the interaction.

    First Views From a BLT

I sat through the presentation for the DVC back in January when I was down to run the marathon and they said there is a lounge on the top (or one of the top) floors for hotel guest access only that will pipe in the music and give a great view as well. There was no mention of the music piped to...

    New Little Mermaid picture!

wait until you see her on stage in full costume...and she totally steals the show. I loved it.

First Official Production Photo: Ariel from The Little Mermaid Musical Picture!

I'm going on Sept 5th towards the end of the run. From my understanding of the pre-broadway engagement so far, the general reaction is that Disney has another hit on it's hands. I was pleased to know that the technical difficulties have been few and far between. Some friends went opening weekend...

    Latest Info on Midway Mania!

yes, not very excited about this one just quite yet. Hopefully it won't be a completely submersive CG environment and will be more of a mix like spiderman. What, are we going to be wearing CG helmets the whole time?

Rides you refuse to go on?

Body Wars (not that we have to worry about that with the pavilion closed ; ) I don't ever get motion sickness except on that ride. Its almost like the movie was out of synch with the actual motion or something??

Kali River or Bilge Rat Barge???

BRB wins hands down. I appreciate the effort imagineering put into the story and theming of the Queue, but the ride is just lacking despite the large drop. I'll never forget the first ride. We couldn't believe we came around the corner and it was over.

What order do you go through the MK lands?

If I'm with the nephews, we usually knock out the fantasyland rides first (with the exception of IaSW). We'll check the board and see how the lines are doing at that point and then are flexible the rest of the day. If the nephews aren't there, we hit the mountains first, ride the people...

    The Living Seas/Nemo Overlay

Maybe they could project images on the walls of the tunnel that made it appear as if we were traveling along the East Australian Current like th emovie ; )

    Leave a Legacy at Epcot

My ex and I got them when they were first introduced. We each got our own though. So, even though they are separate pics, we are right next to each other forever...or until they are dismantled in the future, lol. Despite the above, I think they are cool and fun to take a look at each visit...
