    New SSE Narrator

I think it would be good to keep Jeremy Irons, his voice is mysterious and creates a good mood for a darkride.

    SSE update photos

I just Photoshop-ed that logo but I still can't read what the text says. Hope to get an update on that soon. I would like to see a return of pavilion logos. Thanks Merf.

    Spaceship Earth Update

This post started out exciting but ended up with people acting like children, so I skipped several pages. Forgive me if I missed anything. I thought that anybody that regulars these forums knows that Merf is a very reliable source, and probably the most valuable contributer of news and photos...

    WDW vs Dubailand

If this place is nearly twice the size of WDW, we are talking nearly a hundred square miles. WDW is the most visited place in the world and it handles all those people without even touching over half of it's property. I have been to WDW SEVERAL times, even lived there on the CP, and still...

    Question about Magic Kingdom entrance....

Its definitely better to make the walk at night after Wishes lets out, otherwise you're likely to wait 45 minutes for a monorail or boat. Plus, you get a pretty cool view of Space Mountain. And I second that trick about walking to the Polynesian and hopping on the resort monorail, it is much...

Top 10 Things To Do On Your Own

I have to second spending considerable time in World Showcase instead of being rushed through by a group. Also: 1. Watch every film in every country (France, China, Norway, etc.) 2. Brush up on your photography, there is no better place. 3. Pin Trade 4. Go get a sundae at Beaches and Cream by...

    Coronado Springs

The Ranchos are further than the rest, but I've never been to the desert so I love the theming. I actually prefer the Ranchos just for that. If you will have a car on your vacation, distance really won't be an issue. If not, you can always hitch a ride on those little carts that drive by. I...

    I've Always Wondered...

Actually regular cast members can grab a pair of Mickey gloves anytime they want and use them to wave at guests. I worked front gate at MGM and we had a whole bag full just in our break room alone. There were at least a hundred just in that one bag, for that small group of cast members.

You know your on a WDW road trip when...

Oh yea, you know you're getting close when you see the Ron John Surf shop billboards. The one that is split in half across the freeway is pretty cool. Once you hit I-4 and you are in that home stretch, there a thousand awesome landmarks that I remember. Disney billboards, Mary Queen of the...

College Programers - Good or Bad?

I stayed at Vista Way and it was pretty bad lol. Most of the kids were partiers but each had a pretty good reason for being there. Even the partiers had some love for Disney. Some kids had never been to Disney before and were really overwhelmed. Some were interested in Disney to get a head start...

    Imagination @ Epcot

Hey everyone...I came along well after the new version of Figment so I have some questions. Was the old version really that much better? I think that the entire pavillion is the weakest at Epcot. I thought Journey into Your Imagination was a horrible ride, and Honey I Shrunk the Audience feels...

    Disney/Universal: The Disney Difference

I have to disagree with the above post. Any Disney park handles way more people than a Universal Park and runs much more efficiently. I have been to IOA on a busy day and it's a nightmare, much worse than a Disney park. Even on a moderate day, the lines for every ride are much longer than...

    Disney/Universal: The Disney Difference

I think if there was no such thing as DisneyWorld, Universal would be an amazing place. However, I just don't see paying the money for something that is done 100 times bigger and better down the road. Disney really pioneered the theme park business, and it bothers me when I go to Universal and...

    Help, Serious withdrawls

A word of caution: All the internet videos and music downloads from WDW can end up hurting your next trip. When I came across the music for Spaceship Earth, I kept playing it over and over, so the overall feeling of the ride was not as strong when I did finally get back to Disney. Don't listen...

    what are some traditions?

Eating a late dinner @ Alfredos, watching Illuminations, then going for a stroll around Boardwalk area.

    Land Pavilion food...

I used to eat there often and always enjoyed it. They have really good desserts, and a good variety to choose from. The fruits/vegetables are grown right there and are always really, really fresh.

I once had to shut down Tower of Terror when it was nearly empty...its creepier than you would think lol. I didn't ride it alone though.

    Backstage Secret or no?

    The World in March

The first week of March is usually pretty slow. I have gone that week a few times and barely waited in any lines. However, once you start to get into the second week, you will hit spring breakers. By the mid-second week to third week, it is chaos lol. I would avoid anything past the first week...
