    Is Spain In Epcot's Future?

I agree that Greece would be more interesting. One section like Athens, another like the islands, particularly Santorini. I think the only place another country could go is where the Outpost is, between Germany and China. Anywhere else would crowd things. I have no idea how seven more countries...

    Church Services

Thank you for knowing your faith DocandSix. For the record, the Catholic Church condemned the sale of indulgences well before Martin Luther came along. What individual members of the Church do does not constitute Church teaching. If a teacher at your child's school does drugs, does that mean...

    Closed rides at Epcot

When I was living there in April, I would go to Epcot every night and the only attractions open past 7 in FW were Soarin' and occasionally Test Track. I agree that the staggered closing times are a pain; if people want to ride an attraction after dinner they are out of luck.

Custom Map Laugh Floor opening date

Going in January is always a good thing for me. I practically have the parks to myself.

Anyone have pics from the top floor of Grosvenor?

    "Adios" El Rio del Tiempo!

Is the 3 Cabs thing confirmed or just speculation? I think there is a very good chance that the ride is just going to be updated; there are some things that look very dated. For example, the video footage in the ride has that late 70's/early 80's look that everybody comments on. Maybe it...

    Best view in Disney

Thanks Donut. Now that I think of it, I could see MK from that stairwell, but my camera only has a 10x optical zoom. What kind of zoom do you have? How do you get that cool effect on your pictures (like the one of SSE and the Dolphin Lobby) where everything looked distorted? Are those wide-angle...

    Best view in Disney

Hey Forbidden Donut... I just clicked your link (awesome pictures btw), and I was wondering how you managed to get that picture of MK from the Dolphin. Was that from inside of a room, or can anybody get that view? Can you see Epcot from anywhere?

    Best view in Disney

Another thread I started got onto the topic of the Contemporary rooftop view, so I figured I'd ask everyone what their favorite view is in all of Disney. I spent hours one day on the top floors of the Dolphin trying to get a good aerial view of Epcot, but no luck. I did get a nice view of...

    After the Parks close...

Thanks for the karoake tip at the Swan, I would have never thought about that. I like closing down Epcot then exiting out the International Gateway and just enjoying the Epcot resort area, so this will be something new to try.

    After the Parks close...

In regards to the College Program.... There are buses that take you to various spots around property, but they are only for work-related travel. I suppose you can take the bus that people who work at Boardwalk take, but I don't have much experience with the buses. Getting back and forth is...

Has anyone gotten a custom map yet?

I'm still waiting on the maps AND the new vacation planning dvd.

    After the Parks close...

I was wondering if anybody had any interesting stories of things that they do after the parks close. I know most people go to Downtown Disney or something like that, but I was looking for something a little different. I was a CP in spring and most kids just went to bars every night, but me...

Are you sick of DVC Yet??

As for value resorts, I agree that the All Stars and Pop Century aren't quite what they could be. But for that matter, hotels like the Polynesian are quite old and really not that nice for the price. If it wasn't for the location, I doubt many people would ever pay such a price for that hotel.

Are you sick of DVC Yet??

I really don't think that the DVC advertising is all that bad. I see it on buses, billboards, etc., but I never felt like it was being thrown in my face. Maybe I'm just blind to it... My family and I actually looked into the DVC, and it's a pretty nice idea. For collectors out there, if you...

    World Showcase Update!!

I know this is just a rumor, but I hope the Donald and friends thing does not happen. A quick camio of the characters on the boat ride is fine, but I don't think World Showcase needs that type of theming.

    Physical Location of Imagineers

The Imagineering spot at Epcot is actually behind Wonders of Life. The normal employee entrance at Epcot is between Test Track and Mexico, so it's not a far walk from there. At MGM, the WDI building is behind Hollywood Boulevard on the left side (goin towards Tower of Terror. If any CM knows...

    Italian Restaurant in World Showcase

I was on the CP this spring and went to Alfredo's quite often. I am Italian and I am usually craving pasta. Alfredo is a northern Italian restaurant; most people are familar with Southern Italian cooking. My family is Sicilian, but I found the pasta at Alfredo to be pretty good. The noodles...
