    Hard Rock Hotel Rate Drop

I checked our room rates in January and Garden View rooms went from $254 to $212. I was able to rebook all 3 rooms we had reserved at the lower rate. The online rate was even better ($198) but it was for obstructed view and could not guarantee adjoining. Bob

Flying from Canada to Orlando with liquor.

Wrap the bottle in bubble wrap and then put it in a plastic bag. It should be fine. I've traveled from California with wine packed that way and never a problem. US Customs most likely won't care either. BD

Is Jan/Feb a decent time to go / Good deals?

We always go in January. Mainly due to relatively smaller crowds (except for Martin Luther King weekend which we hit this year) and the kids have some days off around high school mid-terms. But even during MLK weekend it was not too bad since we got to the parks at opening. No waits longer...

Recommend eating for an evening without an entrance fee

California Grill at the Contemporary. Make your reservations for 1 hour before MK fireworks and you can watch them while you eat. Very good food and decent wine list. Bob

Wonders of Life - Star Tours testing?

A very long time. At one point the Test Track control software had to be scrapped and re-written. I know one of the consultants they brought in and he said the first version was untestable. Bob

    Packing wine any suggestions??

Bubble wrap then into a plastic bag. Or you can buy styrofoam wine shippers in various sizes that will protect the bottles from airline abuse. Bob

    WDW over Christmas Holiday

From what I've read in the past it seems that the biggest change is that they raise the prices over the holidays. Bob

    Help with BWI (Baltimore) Airport

I think a 35 min layover anywhere on any airline is questionable. If you leave the first airport late your are pretty much sunk. Here's a terminal map to BWI: http://www.bwiairport.com/customer_assistance/upper_level_terminal_map/ Bob

Why so much cash if you're bringing a credit card as well? We never bring a lot of cash. That's what ATM's are for. BD

How do some friends of characters get away with slacking off while others give 100%?

Our experience at the Prime Time Cafe has been pretty good. The first time the waitress was into the role right from the start almost to the point of irritating but we liked it. In January the waitress did not get into the role until the kids started tattling on each other. (She made them...

    Ride "chicken-outs"

Do all of the coasters and intense rides have "chicken-out" exits before you get on? My wife who does not do coasters has never been inside Space Mtn, BTM, Mission Space, ToT, or RnR. I think she would enjoy the theming of the lines/preshows. I'm not going to try to convince her to ride as...

    Airport Security Question

Since anyone under 16 does not have to show id you may get away with it. Does the original ticket have an age or does nya information with the airline have the person's age? You just have to get the kid to play along. Bob
