Wilderness Cabin vs Animal Kingdom Savannah View

I would do AKL in a heartbeat.

Is Park Hopper Worth the Extra Cost?

I agree with this. On our last 5 day trip we ended up not using it. For 8 days we used it almost every day. Fro breaks during the day, lunch outside of a park. We stayed at BWI and visiting a park most of day, having dinner somewhere, and then finishing at Epcot worked very well.

What's your experience renting DVC points?

In 2016 we paid $243 a night at Boardwalk Villas with a pool view. You could see DHS fireworks from the balcony. It was close to a 50% savings. We books 11 months ahead though dvd rental store doc com. No problems and even had to have my name corrected with no problem.

    Have you called Disney?

Automatic Gratuity for large parties despite poor service

Absolutely. The server has no control about the pace of the meal or the level of staffing that leaves them responsible for such a large table. So I would not blame them for slow service. Take it up with the manager.

    Frontier?

With these super cheap airlines look at the schedules. Fewer flights per day and maybe not flights every day. So if a flight is cancelled you may not get another one for several days.

    Morimoto Asia 2017?

I would go Open Table whenever possible. No cancellation penalties.

Fireworks during Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party (for CG)

Keep checking MK schedules for fireworks times. We have always tried to make a reservation 1 hour prior to any fireworks show. The wait staff knows how to work around it so you don't have food sitting on the table while you're on the patio watching.

According to TMZ gator tried to board raft to tom sawyer island

"Historically, hunting had decimated their population, and the American alligator was listed as an endangered species by the Endangered Species Act of 1973. Subsequent conservation efforts have allowed their numbers to increase and the species was removed from the list in 1987."

    Ride Size

You will have no problems at WDW for ANY ride with a 44" waist. I was much larger than that and never had a problem. Universal was another story.

New 'Sense of Africa' tour coming to Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge

I believe it was $75 and you had to stay club level at AKL.

Best hotel and room option for three adults sharing

In general, the bunk beds are too small for the average adult or taller/larger. I'm 6'1" and I tried the lower bunk and it was too short.

    United Air lines

Be prepared to gate check your bag. They have some many groups of people(various frequent flier levels) board before just regular travelers the overhead bins can fill up.

    question

For the last several years WDW has been trying to wean people off free dining. In 2015 they had more restrictions than 2014. Free dining is based on predicted occupancy of the hotels. With it getting more crowded the last few years I would expect less availability than last year.

    Animal Kingdom Lodge

Your family will probably love it. It has great theming as well as the Savannah's to watch the animals. I highly recommend it.

    Planning vs. Over planning (dining)

Yes, it is crazy with girls that age. You will spend significant time just sitting in restaurants when the kids will probably want to be doing attractions. Besides, unless you do lots of character meals the dining plan is not a money saver. It's also too much food for many people.

    95 Baltimore and DC area

Yes, 8-10 on Saturday should not be too bad. The only other "best" time would be 8-10 on Sunday.

    Longest safari ever!

That would make for a great attraction. Maybe out on the Savannahs. ;-)
