    Your favorite thing about your favorite resort!!

    The Poly is my favorite and I love the smells, sounds, the whole 'feel' from the minute you get there to check in and ride the cart back to the concierge building where they serve you the tropical punch while you check in... the volcano pool..the pool bar..yep wish I was there right now!

    Hidden gem/underated restaurants!!!

    For years we have thought of the Kona as a "find".. also Big River Grill at Boardwalk - my husband wanted to try it for the beers but the food was good too so we went back again..:) the Contemp Cafe at the Contemporary also has some good food!

    Do you remember the first time you were told/told someone you were going to Disney?

    The first time I went was in 76...I had no idea what Disney World was -all I know is I'm SOOOO glad my best friends parents let her take a friend with her on vacation! Then I didn't go again for 15 years and we took our kids, DD was 5 the perfect age and DS was 18 months... I swear he loved it...

    The Night Before Disney

    The closest airport is a 3 hour drive so our night before is usually driving to the airport hotel - the shuttle in the morning to catch the flight..sometimes just getting there is a "trip".. but once I'm on that Magical Express bus its all good!

    Disney Transportation - since I'm the 'driver' of the family I love not having to drive.. whether its a bus, boat or monorail - I love it all. Especially at night when everything is slowing down. Best boat ride is at night to WL and they show the "bear face" in the Lodge windows. Disney Food...

    Hoop Dee Doo is so much fun - for all ages..yes its corny but its good food, lots of drinks and never dull..:) We had a large group last year and no complaints..that says alot in this family!

    Contempory Bay Lake Towers

    I have stayed at both resorts and both are very nice... it will depend on if "theme" is important to you. Poly has great theme - you are imursed in it.. Bay Lake is almost like a business hotel..not much theme..more streamline..plain. I myself like theme so I like the Poly better but our room...

    Grand Marier slush is my favorite! There is a show on travel channel this week - "Best Places I've Ever Been - Disney World" and Samantha Brown is getting one for her and her friend...:)

    Boardwalk or Beach Club?

    My husband and I were in FL this time last year for a convention - and stayed at the Boardwalk. He's not easy to impress and he was impressed. Our room was huge...its beautiful there..and the microbrewery close by was a plus too..;)
