    Dining Decisions

My son, his gf and I ate at Tony's last summer - we have been to Disney many times and have always overlooked this place. I have to honestly say that I was pleasantly surprised. His gf was a picky eater and she didn't complain..:) I don't remember our meals because I DO remember the pistachio...

    What do you collect?

I started with pins.. then moved on to the charm bracelets with charms from all the resorts we have stayed at, fav rides, fav characters, etc. I think they quit making the resort charms..:( the buckets that popcorn comes in... anything that I can bring a little 'Disney' home with me.. :)

Whats your choice for most underated and overated restaurant in WDW????

Under-rated - Tony's Town Square - we ate there for the first time last summer due to not being able to get reservations at other places..and we were very pleasantly surprised. The food was good - atmostphere was fun and the pistachio creme brulee wonderful! Over-rated - I really love all the...

How are the crowds/temps at the end of may start of june??

We have been going the end of May for years. The crowds are not that bad and the heat can be bad, but if you go early, back to resort to swim and back to the parks in the evenings.. its not bad at all..

Getting my daughter excited about our trip

I think its her age more than the vacation. I'm a teacher who works with teenagers everyday and its probably not 'cool' to be going to Disney with your parents, going to miss all the drama at the fair, and may have some friends who are jealous giving her grief about going, etc. Once she's...

Does Disney do it on purpose?

Well since I am usually traveling with a family with a wide variety of ages - I am glad Disney has a wide variety of rides - thrill to the relaxing. We have from 6 - 75 in our group and this way there is something for everyone. It is definately the 'whole family' experience from the moment we...

Snack tip, Dole Whips. The real deal....

I had always read about the Dole Whips but never tried one due to the long lines.. so last January my husband I were in Orlando for a convention so I jumped at the chance to get one when I saw no line - I got the pineapple with orange juice float - (I was afraid the other would be too much...
