News Gotta Pay2Play: Paid FP on the way!

Why not just charge more and guarantee all the rides in 2 days so you can be home and relax on the couch instead of all that stupid vacation stuff.

News Gotta Pay2Play: Paid FP on the way!

Adding to that analogy what if Master Yoda offered a FP for his lube service. So even though you got up early, dropped the kids off at school and sped to the shop, your space was already digitally held by another person who spent $50 to bump you off the line. So you are stuck there for an hour...

    A Spirited 15 Rounds ...

Okay how about Terminator 2? Aliens is obviously a classic but does not add anything to the backstory. Just trying to move this topic off SW if possible

DHS Galaxy's Edge popularity vs Potter's popularity

It's true, fandom often attaches at an early age and SW has the benefit of having really 3 different generation's kids with their "own" trilogy. Not following too closely but isn't episode 9 going to be the current arc's closure? There after it will either be a new series or backstories and...

DHS Galaxy's Edge popularity vs Potter's popularity

I agree, for kids in the Gen Z age group (say 12-22), Potter was everything. Gen X has their Star Wars but millennials can be a mixed bag. Also I think Potter skews more towards females, although that may be waning. Overall SW is the winner but not for every demographic and who knows if...

DHS Galaxy's Edge popularity vs Potter's popularity

I have little love for either franchise but whatever park offers the best experience, most innovative rides and best immersion would be my choice. I'll bite... I still think Star Wars has a slight edge in popularity over Potter, averaging out all demographics and locations.

    A Spirited 15 Rounds ...

Honestly I read your post about 10 times and I still don't understand your point. Are you saying that since where you live movies are inexpensive so critical ratings are meaningless? Also, movies come out quickly through your cable provider so you only see movies a few times a year instead...

EPCOT Announced: Mary Poppins Attraction in UK Pavilion

Food, pop art/fashion, architecture and music are definitely important aspects of the culture of a country. That is often the first step into a new culture that can be digested by the masses. And that is why all of those are represented in all the pavilions. The next step would be something...

EPCOT Announced: Mary Poppins Attraction in UK Pavilion

Ugh...If had to make a choice I still would have to side with Brave. I know we have talked this au nauseam for 140 pages. And of course so much depends on execution. What I want when I walk out of a WS attraction is a deeper understand of the country. I don't expect a complex historical...

Except Mary Poppins teaches you nothing about the history of England further watering down Epcot.

News Disney and Fox come to terms -- announcement soon; huge IP acquisition

I'm curious as to who are the people that are really for this acquisition. Stockholders? Yes eventually I could see the share prices increase. Disney Park fans? What Fox properties do you want to see or think will be incorporated into the parks? Disney brand fans? What IPs are you so excited...

EPCOT Announced: Mary Poppins Attraction in UK Pavilion

I know there is a hint there I am just not picking up... This original Brave attraction keeps getting curiouser and couriouser. So a back to basic ride but according to @marni1971 not a ride system currently in the park. So that kind of leads me back to a Snow White style dark ride, but would...

    CEO Bob Chapek?

I am certainly aware of the history of Touchstone and other theatrical films done outside the Disney brand. And the key word is outside the Disney brand. Touchstone currently has I believe 1 film slated for the rest of the decade and in general TWDC is moving towards an even more synergized...

    CEO Bob Chapek?

I think it is at least debatable that this acquisition/merger is a good business decision. There are a lot of assets that would need a serious infusion of cash to grow and remain solvent. It also will over weight content in a fast changing environment. But more importantly is this good for...
