I think the free dining through 9/29 expired on 5/18. Is there any rumors of free dining being offered through the rest of the fall months?? My sister and I are going for a long weekend after Thanksgiving and staying at the Art of Animation resort. Hoping for free dining!

maybe we'll see you walking around the last few days of our trip. SOG is a nice hotel and definitely bigger than the Caribbean which is where we usually stay. I have eaten at a restuarant at the GF and it is beautiful. Hope you enjoy your visit.

yes you are right Monty. It was a 8 day ticket with no expiration but I did not choose park hopper. So, I can use the remainder of the 6 days but cannot pay to upgrade to park hopper?? thanks for the info. I love you trip reports with you and your son.

thanks for the reply. when I bought the ticket on a trip last december the cast member told me if i did not choose park hopper at that time I would not be able to upgrade in the future. i did not think that sounded right.

I have a base ticket with 6 days left on it. We are going for a week in september. Can I upgrade this base ticket to park hoppers? thanks.

I also bought a few of the $75 ones. But "sweetpea" was the one talking about buying the $100 ones and she paid for a whole trip with them. The $10 bonus cards can only be used at disney stores or online but the $100 ones could be used for your disney hotel, restuarants etc. sorry to see them go.

I read about these a year ago on this site. Sam's Club has been offering these $100 gift cards with a $10 bonus since 2010. I bought some for our last trip. Now disney has ended the promotion so you can't buy the cards anymore.

My sister went to Sam's this morning and attempted to buy 7 of the $100 gift cards and was told the promotion has been pulled by disney........ Does anyone know of any other promotions for gift cards that can be used anywhere at the parks? We are so disappointed as these cards were a good deal

our family travels with my 85 year old mother. she spends alot of time in the room and always dreads the channels at disney. i think with the cost of everything there they could provide decent service. not everyone spends 16 hours per day in the parks and we do enjoy staying on disney property.

Great trip report Holly. Would you post of picture of you and Brett's Christmas tree? I have a 4 foot tree that I do in just disney ornaments. I would love to see yall's plush tree.

we are thinking of renting points at a dvc studio when we go in the fall. if they offer free dining for the time we will be there are you eligible if you are staying at a dvc? We have never done this before so we don't know much about renting dvc points etc. thanks
