    Ellen's Energy Adventure

My first thoughts were not "Chinese Man" but I will agree with you that it looks absolutely nothing like her!! It's almost shameful that they can make such extraordinary AAs and her's is so sad.

Only a year and a half away from Harry Potter Land and still nothing from Disney!

I take the opposing side: I don't think Harry Potter Land is going to STOP people from also visiting Disney. I can't see someone really debating over going to Universal vs. Disney. For those who only like Universal and do not care for Disney, they would go to Universal anyways. For those who...

    Ellen's Energy Adventure

Your wife was 10 months pregnant?! OUCH!!:D I agree with you, though, nolatron...outdated although it brings back fond childhood memories (mostly of my older brother cowering in fear of all the dinosaurs!). It is a nice place to take a nap!! I say give it a chance, even just once.

My Favorite Food at Disney is...

I would have to say my favorite is the sushi at Cali Grill. Second best sushi I've ever had (#1 belongs to the Kona Grill located by my house!). My husband and I try to eat there at least twice every trip, so delicious!:slurp:

    Types of cheeses?

If it's a hard cheese than it's okay...if it's soft than she should pass it up. I would pass up semi-soft too (just to be on the safe side). But she should be able to enjoy all of the fruit on the tray and just pick around any "off limits" cheese!

Boardwalk Entertainment - Suitable for kids?

As far as I know, Atlantic Dance (the big "dance hall") at BW is 21 and up. I could be wrong about that...but I'm pretty sure at the very least it is 18 plus. Jellyrolls, the dueling piano bar is also either 18/21 plus...but I don't think that there is any dancing. Kids can go into ESPN...

    Taking photos at waterparks

Sorry for so many posts, but to follow up: You can find the strap at Best Buy, just search for "Olympus Flotation Neck Strap" and it should pop up. And it is in stock!

    Taking photos at waterparks

It is found at https://emporium.olympus.com/innards/empProdDetails.asp?sku=202204-410 (direct link). But it says that it is sold out. I believe that you can also order it from Best Buy or another big box retailer. Hope this helps!

    Taking photos at waterparks

I know you were looking for a disposible digital camera, but if you are in the market for a regular waterproof digital camera I would recommend the Olympus brand. I believe it is the model Stylus 1080 (correct me if I'm wrong) and it is waterproof up to 10 ft for up to 4 hours at a time. It is...

Contemporary Tower photo update - a view from Bay Lake

From what I remember, the blueprints that were leaked showed a semi-circular building like the one being built. Try a thread search for Contemporary DVC blueprints for more information. Thanks for the pics! Boy does that tower dominate the A-Frame!

Magical Express vs. paying for a car???

I would recommend ME, I've used it three times and never, ever waited more than 10 minutes to get onto the bus and once on never more than 10-15 minutes to leave. We have used it to get to BW and it (total time) only took about an hour (not too bad for free, and just chilling in the AC watching...

    Stanley Cup in Disney Parks?

All games are being broadcast on CBC, which I believe that Disney resorts do carry. Plus, the games are being broadcast late enough (8-8:30pm) that you wouldn't be missing that much time in the parks.

Hey guys! Long time no post - quesiton about Wilderness Lodge

I'm glad that your feeling better, and with an upcoming trip to Disney to look forward to as well! My husband and I stayed at WL on the villas side for our honeymoon last September and loved it! Often, we would sit in the lobby bar and just play checkers (you have to ask for the pieces...and...

    Stanley Cup in Disney Parks?

I can understand that you are in Disney and would want to be out and about...but as a HUGE wings fan :D, I would be holed up in my resort room watching every second of the game. Or rather...talking to the TV every second of the game. GO WINGS!! (had to add that in there ;))

    So What's on Your Antenna?

I don't have an antenna either, so another way to display the toppers (while still being able to rotate them easily) is to sandwich them in between the dash and the windshield. And if you drive like me (very fast with sharp turns:lol:) and they don't stay, just adhere a little poster tack on the...

    Imaginationland The DVD

That is hilarious, I am definitely downloading those ringtones to my phone!:ROFLOL: I don't know if its been posted on this forum before, but one of the South Park creators (Trey Parker, I believe...?) actually went to WDW on his honeymoon. Fun little fact.
