Horrible smell outside Norway in Epcot? (now with 200% more pictures)

LOL your arrows!!! So, is it that entire area that has the stink? Could it be mulch from the flower beds?

Noob Mistakes You Made During Your First WDW Visit

The story that my whole family continues to torture me endlessly with: When I was 9yr old we went to WDW and my mom gave us all $50 for souvenirs, which is a lot for 1989. I spent it all in the gift shop at the Disney Dolphin DAY ONE. Lol. I remember getting a plastic Alice in Wonderland...

Disney World guests file lawsuit after allegedly eating bug-infested food

Oh agreed. Lettuces are very susceptible to E-Coli, Lysteria and other bacteria which is why it's very important to wash it thoroughly. What I'm saying is that the aphid is not going to make a person sick. Other bacteria on the lettuce might...but that's not being brought up in the lawsuit.

Disney World guests file lawsuit after allegedly eating bug-infested food

Typically lettuce wraps are "build your own", so it makes sense that they saw the bugs while they were putting them together. What does not make sense is why they would continue to eat them lol.

Am I Alone... WDW Food is BAD

SEE! I KNEW IT WOULD BE lololol! I'm sticking to the cronut and dole whips.

Am I Alone... WDW Food is BAD

I don't know....I typically enjoy 90% of my dining experiences at WDW. My expectations aren't sky high as I'm ultimately in a theme park and not in a trendy neighborhood in NYC. And to that point, I've had food in NYC that everyone goes nuts for online only to be disappointed when I actually try...

Disney World guests file lawsuit after allegedly eating bug-infested food

Well, because they run a GIGANTIC foodservice operation and things fall through the cracks. The odds are more likely that it was a mistake on the part of the banquet staff that day vs someone intentionally smuggling aphids into the Polynesian club level lounge to try to get $15k.

Disney World guests file lawsuit after allegedly eating bug-infested food

Same here! It would probably make me paranoid and I would make myself crazy inspecting all my food for the whole trip. But what I don't understand is why they would notice the bugs, THEN EAT THEM? The little bugs are aphids...which are common and not poisonous. It means, however, that the...

    Best Extinct WDW Foods

I miss Starring Rolls in general over at DHS. It was the only decent QS in my opinion and had really good sandwiches. The deli meat was good quality, not slimy over processed stuff. Lots of cupcakes and pastries to choose from. 😢

Can you remember the first attraction you ever did in Disney World?

OMG ME TOO. Not sure about the year...but probably 86? I remember it vividly because the wait was like, over an hour and the ride was about 6 seconds long LOL. I just remember him complaining about Mr. Toads Wild Ride for most of my childhood whenever WDW was brought up.

    Captain's Grille refurbishment

I love Captain's Grille! We eat here on almost every trip. Easy to get a ADR, food is good and it's on site, so nice and easy. The crab cakes are delish.

    How Much Walking Per Day

DH and I went without the kids...so not a lot of stopping, and in Feb...so not a lot of shuffling. We also stay at BC and walked to Epcot and HS. On the days where we visited two parks (taking monorail from MK to Epcot and walking back to the hotel) my tracker said like, 12 miles. On our normal...

Girls trip - sleep cheap, eat rich?

We were there first week in February (from Upstate NY) and although it was a little brisk, the sun was shining and it was really lovely. We had a couple really warm days mixed in so it was perfect. I much preferred Disney in cooler weather to the sweltering heat. Everything was just way easier...

    Akershus timing?

I looked at the price for Akershus breakfast and it was like, $41!!! Do you think the price went up because of it's proximity to Frozen? Akershus used to be one of the less expensive character meals....

How bad is Easter/Spring Break at WDW?

I'm thinking of tacking a couple days on to our beach vacation March 11-13, 2017. All the boards rate this week as super busy, but nobody can actually tell me why. Easter is April 16, so shouldn't be school Spring Break. Is it college break or something?
