oh it was great! watching movie commentary by TCM hosts is my favorite part of watching movies on the channel! and it was extra special because Robert Osborne had passed away the month before, so seeing this video for the first time post-mortem felt like watching a tribute to him in a sense.

i've been hoping and hoping for these three changes in the parks for years: 1. get rid of Ellen in EPCOT 2. get rid of stitch in MK 3. update the MuppetVision 3D film (especially after Disney acquired Jim Henson studios) they've only come in clutch with 1 out of 3, even after 2 Muppet movies...

they already have a garden in the UK pavilion don't they? near the area where alice meets?

unless they're gonna rework the DHS geography and say that MMRR is part of the animation courtyard now?

how will all this affect a certain secret character tradition at DHS? (if they get this version) (shhhhhh.... ;))

they do already have Doctor Who syndicated to show on Disney XD so its not a completely off idea...but still it seems like a weird play for them to buy the franchise

and Muppetvision 3d is still unchanged even though they've owned Jim Henson as an IP for quite some time now but i suppose i can still cackle at the end of the film (where they "blast the wall" and show the outside of the park) with the idea that i'm gonna leave the attraction and return to...

correct me if im wrong, but isnt the new doctor that was just announced the last reincarnation? if so, why would disney buy the franchise this late in the game?

why did they scrap the plans to put a themed bar at the exit of the ride? i was actually looking forward to that....

thats's actually the saddest thing i ever heard lol plus idk about everyone else but if im gonna spend a considerable amount of time waiting on a line, id definitely want the ride to last longer than 5 minutes... :rolleyes:

i agree, but these replacements make very little sense in the context of the surrounding theming (mickey ride in the chinese theater? GOTG in a california park and future-themed park? going through frontierland to get to the DLR star wars land?) and it looks very tacky

because they know what they're doing (forcing so many IPs in places they don't belong/match) is incredibly tacky and transparent
