Tropical Storm Hilary - Possible Disneyland Impacts?

I felt the earthquake start and just started laughing. Truly Californians are just built different.

Avengers Campus - Reactions / Reviews

It probably doesn't help that people are conflating an industry-wide drop in box office with the MCU in particular. Movie franchises across the board are underperforming relative to what they did before COVID, and even four years out the movie industry has not adjusted to the new reality that...

    News Reimagined Toontown coming

Don't know if it is the full music loop, but they put up a whole album of songs from the land on Spotify.

    All things Universal Studios Hollywood

I might have typed all that after only reading the first couple sentences of your initial response, so whoops.

    All things Universal Studios Hollywood

I wonder if it's because USH is closer to the rest of tourist LA (aka Hollywood, the beaches) while Disneyland is more buried in the OC, so you almost have to be coming specifically for that, while you can add USH into your vacation and get to say you saw a film studio in the process.

    All things Universal Studios Hollywood

If you're going to do two days anyway then no, the park is small enough that you can just wait in the regular lines and have more than enough time to get everything done. You may want to plan a bit (specifically, get there early enough to take advantage of the short line for Forbidden Journey in...

    All things Knotts Berry Farm

I had Knotts fried chicken a few months ago and yeah, I think nostalgia was clouding my opinion of it because it was not great. Just super dry for everyone at the table.

    All things Universal Studios Hollywood

Personally, the rankings for the "big" haunts in LA goes: 1. Scary Farm 2. HHN BIG GAP 3. Haunted Hayride 4. Fright Fest Dark Harbour used to occupy that gap area, I didn't get out to Shaqtoberfest but from what I heard it was a very different vibe. Fright Fest is getting much better and may...

    All things Universal Studios Hollywood

If you get the VIP pass it's fine because you don't have to wait in the lines (which are a nightmare) and it includes rides which is nice. Set designs are usually good, but like others have said Universal loves it some empty black transition hallways between scenes and the scares are all the...

News Rogers the Musical coming to the Hyperion Theater

I really do want to sneak down and see this at some point, but I'd like to go on a day that isn't completely booked out so I can sit off to the side away from people.

He wouldn't be running for four more years at this point, this is as much about being an anti-DeSantis as anything else.

News Wondrous Journeys firework show coming to Disneyland

They're down for maintenance (rumors include working on HVAC on those buildings) but in light of the Fantasmic dragon bursting into flames it was assumed they would use the opportunity to rework some of the castle pyro to lessen the flames for something else.

CM’s counting change at registers in front of guests

I was thinking about this, because back when I used to work in retail they always did the counts at the register and only brought the drawers to the back once the customers were out. I'm not sure if this is just a general retail change not specific to Disney, as it was always sold to me as a way...

Tiana's Bayou Adventure: Disneyland Watch & Discussion

IT'S THIS EXACT THING RIGHT HERE! You literally have your experience and no one else is allowed to have a different experience because yours is clearly the correct one. This is insufferable and why this thread devolves into nightmares constantly.

Tiana's Bayou Adventure: Disneyland Watch & Discussion

No offense, but you could flip this and it'd read the exact same for people on the other side of this. The real problem in this thread is that all of you have been insufferable in multiple different ways. The people who are still angry that Splash has closed (and let's be perfectly clear: y'all...

Tiana's Bayou Adventure: Disneyland Watch & Discussion

Absolutely howling that this goof was one of the last riders. A perfect ending to this saga. Anyway as a recent chaperone of Grad Night I can answer any and all questions y'all might have on how the thing goes (I was scheduled to go again tomorrow but got out of it).

I went and got my last ride in yesterday. I'll miss it, but bring on the future.

Tiana's Bayou Adventure: Disneyland Watch & Discussion

The Laughin' Place drop is by far the wettest. It's like a wave of water comes over the log every single time. You'd think they look at fixing something there during the change, not sure.
