Do you think Disney will ever make a really impressive playground again?

I’m going to say no. I have no faith in current Disney. They way overspend for attractions that under deliver most of the time….and they continue to remove playgrounds. Pretty sad that Universal will be killing Disney in this aspect soon. Dreamworks land is a decent playground area, but...

DHS Pixar Place will transform into a Metroville city block at Disney's Hollywood Studios

Of course it did. It was one of the few rides most in the family could ride…and it was the NEWEST attraction.

    Taking Pooh on Jungle Cruise…

When I first read the title I thought it said, “Taking A Pooh on Jungle Cruise.” 😂 I thought somebody had an accident…

Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts vs TRON Lightcycle / Run

Gringotts disappointed in my expectations, but I think the overall package of the experience is better than Tron, even though I think Tron is the better coaster.

    Themed Entertainment Association 2023 Statistics

I actually have a few friends that literally decided not to come this year and just wait for Epic next year…so yeah…would make sense especially considering the only new thing this year was Dreamworks land. Not something they’d plan a trip for.

DAK 'Encanto' and 'Indiana Jones'-themed experiences at Animal Kingdom

Indy belongs in Studios. Add the ride there. Keep Dinosaur, the Boneyard, and Restaurantosaurus… You can add Encanto and the Carousel. No real loss of anything there since Chester’s and Hester’s was always a mess. Add the Lion King flume to Africa. Add a slow moving Jungle Book ride...

EPCOT Figment, well, to be replaced by Figment

Yippee! So 8 more years guys! Then we’ll finally get a new Imagination! 😂

Universal Epic Universe (South Expansion Complex) - Now Open!

Ok wasn’t counting the off the shelf (more basic) rides. While this carousel will be a new take, it’s still a flat ride. The splash battle ride is no different than any other aside from the theming. I was more or less referring to all the bigger rides that need far more time to test and adjust.

Universal Epic Universe (South Expansion Complex) - Now Open!

As much as I love the Monsters concept and getting to see a new version of the Kuka Robocoaster in action, I think the Potter Ministry ride will probably be even more impressive. They are throwing so much at this ride…

Universal Epic Universe (South Expansion Complex) - Now Open!

I have contacts that are working in EU and have informed me that basically EVERY ride is already testing. (And yes, they have shown me private videos of Potter and Monsters!)

Rumor D23 2024 WDW Rumors, Predictions & Discussion

Pretty sad the only confirmed things in the USA stop at 2025. 26-27 are just for Tokyo. These parks need more. A lot more.

DHS What should they do with Animation Courtyard?

Demo the whole freaking thing already. We’ve all been begging for this area to clear out for some actual worthwhile attractions, and anyone who has visited DHS recently knows the park needs a LOT more when it comes to rides (and NOT all E-tickets please.)…the RSR/Carsland idea could work...

Rumor WDW Rumor Tracker - Revenge of the Fifth (Balls in their (Animation) Court(yard) Update)

That’s how I feel about Tomorrowland. Utter mishmash of rides and themes…and the horribly ugly and smelly Speedway… I spend the most time in Frontierland.

News 'Beyond Big Thunder Mountain' Blue Sky concept revealed for Magic Kingdom

Don’t lose hope. From what I’ve heard, they’re bouncing back and forth…but still want to get SOMETHING in both parks sooner rather than later since they know Epic Universe will be pulling business from the two existing parks…and they know Disney is basically sitting on its hands…

Is It Wrong That I'm A Bit Jealous Of Tokyo Disneyland?

Except in this case, it is greener.

Do you think Shanghai will go for another expansion next or go for a second gate?

I’m sure… But how about focusing more on the parks you actually wholly own? You know…like the cash cow that makes most of the money for the resort division?

Portions of Kidzone closing January 16, 2023

This is what I expected it to be…a basic overlay over the original attractions…but I’m gonna say it: Fievel’s play land would be superior to Shreks swamp. I hope someday we get a few dark rides back in here.

Is It Wrong That I'm A Bit Jealous Of Tokyo Disneyland?

Nope. Nothing wrong with it. Their upkeep is next level. Quality that we used to see at the Disney parks in the US back in the 80’s and 90’s. I used to love WDW, but lately it’s just been the cash cow for the company and we get so many clones and replacements instead of additions and seeing...

Universal Epic Universe (South Expansion Complex) - Now Open!

Yes they want people to add to their stays, but they do not mind the idea of an attendance dip at Studios. They expect it. There is a major plan for redos and expansions over the next handful of years at the park. They know they have a few duds and will need all the capacity and headlining...

Universal Epic Universe (South Expansion Complex) - Now Open!

Universal WANTS Epic to pull crowds away from Universal Studios. This will make it easier to take a number of attractions offline and build new ones while not massively inflating wait times on the existing attractions. As I’ve said before, there are major plans for an overhaul of things at the...
