The 50th anniversary of Disneyland was really the dawn of me being part of online fandoms. I was 14, and wanted so bad at the time to come back to Disneyland and experience it all (I first visited in 2001, and the obsession came pretty quickly after that trip ended). So the 50th, for sure.

GTA6 will only come out once Disney opens another gate at either Disneyland Resort of Walt Disney World.

I meant just in the opening number with the sisters. Kinda like they already do with Triton behind the curtain. Do it all behind the curtain in silhouette. Have the empty shell facing the audience rotate it around as the curtain opens to reveal the empty shell to the imaginary audience behind...

They should just do silhouettes or something.

Disney won in 2024 for best dark ride... does not winning in 2025 negate that? Does anyone actually even really care who wins this each year? Will Universal cry if they lose in the coming year to a new Disney attraction? Is this... even anything?

Just wanted to add I was not saying you were wrong. I genuinely could not remember who was discussing, but thought it was odd this film was doing so well given the trends you’ve pointed out. Likely a few outliers for the year.

Just watched Lilo and Stitch (finally) and it was very cute! Even got me feeling a bit emotional by the end. The craziest thing to me is that it hit a billion, and is still the only billion dollar movie this year. If the IP was never a Disney animated film first, that had decades of nostalgia...

I hate to use the word... but synergy. Do they not realize the synergy that Disney leverages within the different sectors of the company?
