I can only report my observations. I was in the BWV's about 3:30PM, 2nd floor, near the screen door store. I heard the unmistakable sounds of fireworks. I went to my balcony and saw a significant smoke plume which at the time I believe had come from the center area of the world showcase...

About 3:30pm this afternoon, I heard some fireworks go off in the world showcase lagoon. Just wondering if there are any Epcot CM's here that knew if this was an accident, and if so, was anyone hurt? (praying that there wasn't).

He is a CM. He's been working since April to do this, riding during breaks, time-off etc.. He also kept a log, and had an attraction CM sign it each time after riding. Good thing he did his 999th mid-day though -- as the HM was not operational for much of MNNSHP last night.
