Honestly? I far prefer having my own vehicle. I don't find busy, crowded, uncomfortable buses that I have to stand in line for at the end of the day a huge perk.

This is absolutely what I'm expecting. So if FP+ doesn't return, and you're an off site guest, your only options will be spend an inordinate amount of time in line, or spend an inordinate amount of money to not stand in line.

The point isn't how many rides, but the crowds that will have already built by the time the off site people get in. That said, while yes, it only gets you one "big" ride, we have certainly done more than one ride in half an hour during rope drop.

Agree. Off site is far better accommodations. However, the Early Morning Entry is going to be a big perk now, especially if we lose FP+, since off-site you'll lose the ability to rope drop.

How do you figure that? Rope drop is "free". I'm not talking about the old Early Morning Magic packages.

We only go in early summer, and even then, doing what you just said, we've never waited more than 20-25 minutes. It's amazing how many rides you can bang out during the 1-2 hours following rope drop if you time it right.
