    Pirates refurb dates released

I've always been pretty open-minded with Disney's decisions but I despise the WDW version. This sucks.

I think Walt would've moaned more about California Screamin' and Paradise Pier.

Radiator Springs Racers no longer has a winner?

They should make the losing car wait in line at other attractions for the winning car.

    The Miscellaneous Thought Thread

LTTP but can someone explain why Disneyland Paris is getting so much attention/expansion? I don't think lack of attractions was why that park failed (and why its attendance keeps falling every year) but rather the fact that Europeans saw DLP as a piece of Corporate American Imperialism...

I understand THAT point. I'm confused why you brought up classic literature. Are you saying only attractions of classic literature should be used for IP-based attractions? Is Indiana Jones not going to stand the "test of time?"

Pixar Fest - Reviews and Thoughts, plus Soft Opening News

Are children going to be taught about Indiana Jones or The Twilight Zone? They both produced beloved Disney attractions. The point here isn't the subject matter but rather what Disney has done with the subject matter. Kinda confused why you brought up the whole "classic literature" point since...

DHS Star Wars Land announced for Disney's Hollywood Studios

Sounds awesome, hopefully the boarding and un-boarding nature of the attraction doesn't make this a nightmare for our wheelchair-using friends.

News Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge - Historical Construction/Impressions

A Frontierland expansion would be awesome. I'd love a smaller-scale version of Nature's Wonderland. The Frozen Land comment was just me being a realist lol

News Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge - Historical Construction/Impressions

Would probably be a Frozen Land identical to what Paris is getting if that was the case.

Pixar Fest - Reviews and Thoughts, plus Soft Opening News

Pixar revolutionized the animation industry both in terms of storytelling (creating beautiful stories with little to no dialogue with Up's intro and Wall-E along with breaking the princess trope with Brave for examples) and technological advancements but it definitely feels like they've been...

News Paradise Pier Becoming Pixar Pier

I visited the Pier today, it absolutely looks aesthetically pleasing in person. But yeah, I HATE that stupid Happy Meal Box along with the Señor Buzz Churros. Hopefully, they get replaced in the upcoming years.

What makes Space Mountain so great? What can WDI learn from it?

I've never ridden it but based off that part alone it sounds like the greatest attraction of all time.

Haha, I think I remember getting a Henry Waternoose toy and being so bummed out I didn't get Sully or Mike.
