The good thing is Disneyland does their own Halloween thing, in a sense, and you don’t have to pay extra! You get fireworks, Haunted Mansion Holiday, decor, and speciality foods. I hope you and hubby have a great time at both Disneyland and Knott’s.🙂

I agree that it doesn’t scream 1920s New Orleans. And I still think they should have named it “Tiana’s Place” because, although I like what they did with the restaurant, it doesn’t have the grandeur aesthetic of Tiana’s Palace in the movie.

More promo videos like this one, please. It comes off as much more natural and authentic. I like that the PatF details in the restaurant are subtle and tasteful.

I got multiple requests from guests asking to ride the Fantasyland dark rides with the lights on. Some also asked if they could walk through them.

Did you miss the part where I liked your post and was agreeing with you when I responded? To be clear, I was referring to Epcot81’s weirdo post.

They have to change pretty much everything about the ride. It’s a completely different experience than Mansion. There likely isn’t enough time to do full maintenance and install everything in just two weeks. We would have to ask someone from the team, because I’m guessing and I’m curious.

It’s been shut down for two weeks to install HMH, not for maintenance. Expecting any ride to run perfectly is setting yourself up for disappointment. Things happen. Today is the first day of the Halloween season and the ride is super popular. Hope you can get on at some point before the day ends.

Yes, of course. It’s not for me, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t people who do enjoy it. Good for them, I’m happy they enjoy it. I wanted to like it, but things didn’t turn out that way. I expected much better and I still feel it could have been much better. Oh well.
