let drill down to it asume a 5 people family, 2 adults, 3 kids, 3 nights to get there, 10 in orlando 3 nights back, traveling in a minivan. tickets=$500 for universal (yes people, admit it, everyone wants the hulk, spidey and mummy fix) tickets=$1,000 (no park hoppers, no need) hotel nights...

i believe what fosse is saying is right... i was on june 28 at the gate before epcot was opening...the CM had a meeting with a sort of manager..and he told them they were expecting 25,000 people.. so they do plan accordingly before opening a park, and know when to close it..

room service? really? there are literally a TON of restaurants inside or outside the disney property... the price for in room dining are very high...time it takes to arrive, etc, etc...

why bother telling them you are arriving? your familiy will already be checked in...youll just need to purchase a separate ticket and thats it... send the kids to the floor...and have a vacation together...
