    just back, etiquette questions

This is where I woudl disagree with you. If people want to give up their seat to others they feel need it more/out of politness, then more power to them. They are great, wonderful and polite people. We should throw a parade in their honor. But no one shoud EXPECT anyone to give up a seat for...

What park to hit first for daughter's first time to WDW?

I agree with everyone here, take her to see MK first. Its so magical to see their faces light up when they see the castle for the first time. That said, my daughter's (age 11) favorite park is Epcot. So that is always the first thing we do. For her, riding Spaceship Earth is the best way to...

    Casual Look for CMs???

OT, but this comment reminded me of something I witnessed when I was shoping for a good tattoo artist a few year ago. A young college kid (who looked to be 18-20) came in to a tattoo shop I was in and said he wanted to have his neck tattooed. Every artist in that shop refused to do it and...

    Question for Houston area people

As a person who lives on the West side of Houston I can tell you that morning rush hour is not that bad at all. The traffic moves. The worst spot will be from Katy to Gessner, but once you get close to the loop you'll be going 60-70 mph, even at 7:30 or 8:00 am.

OK ladies, what would you do?

For what its worth, I don't complain that chivalry is dead. It doesn't bother me if a man doesn't go out of his way to do something for a women. I think people should just be generally polite to one another.

OK ladies, what would you do?

Unless and until I am medically unable to stand up on a bus for whatever reason I'm not going to take you up on the offer. Its cute though. Honestly, I work downtown and ride a bus to work everyday. People on these boards seriously need to stop gripping about the crowded Disney buses. At least...

    The end for refillable mugs?

For what its worth I just recently sat in on a Labor arbitration in which the Union argued that because the Company previously did not enforce a certain employee rule, the rule was void. The arbitrator didn't buy that argument and denied the grievance. Also, for what its worth, laws governing...

Lessons learned: who not to vacation with

I have to agree with you on this. I get not wanting to waste 45 minutes on meet and greets. However, the OPs response to the situation seems rather immature to me. It seems to me like a lack of communication was really the down fall of this trip.

Pardon me, but your on my sidewalk...

Yeah, I'm not waiting 2 hours to see a parade and if I am walking up as the parade starts, I make sure that I'm not blocking anyone's view (then again I'm short so... ). That said, why are you waiting 2 hours for something, and not sitting on the curb/right up against the rope? Honestly...

    Opinion

How did they not remedy the situation with the family? They let them in the park. They sent them a letter in response to their complant. The article stated the employee was "delt with", what else are they suppose to do for them?

    Boat Transportation

Agreed, we took the boat from Epcot to DHS once, never again. If you walk its a lot faster and you get to see a more.

    The end for refillable mugs?

Maybe its technically not wrong, but if you are using your cup to fill an ice chest, it doesn't not make you a jerk.

    Would you recommend the Polynesian?

Personally Poly is my favoriate. Best coffee on property. The rooms are big (even if they aren't the prettiest) and honestly you can't beat the transpertation to the MK/Epcot. If you can, I would get a castle veiw because its really awesome to be able to sit on your balconey and watch the...

June Compared to July............? (crowds/heat) PLEASE HELP!

I agree. We have been in July and honestly, I would put my honeymoon off for a year if it meant I didn't have to relive that nightmare. You can survive it if you follow the advise others have given, but its not as magical.

Lumiere Living Character? Be Our Guest restaurant concept

We saw Remy on our last trip and he was awesome. The art of Lumiere looks like its the same kind of deal only a bit more complicated because Remmy didn't talk, only gestered. I don't think you could have Lumiere NOT talk. Still, I think its possible and would be really cool to see.

Cinderella's Golden Carrousel to change its name June 1

Espcially when that backstory is as forced and dumb as this one.

    Opinion

I have to agree with you on this. While I'm not really a fan of her tattoo, I have seen far worse as far as things I don't think people need to be wearing in theme parks. That said, I don't really see why they called a news station. The fact that they were able to get into another line and...

Imagineers have set up shop in Soundstage One

If they announced a Monster Inc. coaster on teh day Harry Potter opens, the news would be lost completly. Nothing is going to steal Universal's thunder that day. Sorry.

What is the funniest thing you overheard another guest say in WDW?

I have to go with they were messing with you. I'm sorry, but just think about how stupid their spouses would have to be in that situation. "You all just stay here while the two of us go out for dinner by ourselves for absoulutly no reason."
